:leaf:Hey Everybody....I just got a hefty load of this product I've never heard of (GREAT WHITE premium mycorrhizae). The only thing i get out of it is that it is a Beneficial Bacteria & Trichoderma... Was wondering what you experts knew about the stuff and what its best used for, when to use it...etc...:leaf:

havent heard of the great white, but myco is very good to use, it helps enhance root structure and pretty much just makes the roots stronger and better. im not an expert but i would use it and just follow the instructions on the lablel, its best to mix into the soil

It's like Pirahnna and Tarantual mixed into 1. Great White is fantastic. I feed it once when I transplant, then again after about 10 days, then inoculate them a final time the day before starting bloom. Cheaper than the Phirana and tarantula by Advanced but has everything that Advanced does works a 10 times better......If you wanna try it out, use it on all but 2 or 3 of your plants, then compare the results in the end. Both the final buds and the roots.

Micorrhizae are fine if you're doing a 100% organic grow, but if not then the chemicals you give to your plants will have a negative effect on the micro organisms. (or so ive read about 100 times)

I use H&G and Great White. Still works just as good as when I was doing organic. It's even recommended by H&G because they can't ship their brand to the states yet. Just like using Pirahna and Tarantula with AN line.

With Organic it works much better but it's still just as good with chemicals

Well Cool Thanks Guys. I will run some tests in about 3 weeks or so. I have 1 skunk #1 and 1 green crack clone that i will be growing up and turning into mothers (just picked up yesterday). I will Clone the Shit out of the mothers then start my actual grow with the little lady's. I will be doing 36 total, 18 of each strain. I guess i will try it out on 6 plants of each strain (I don't really want to drastically jump into a product I don't know too much about). I will log all results and photos into a journal and I will also post a summary of my findings. Thank you all for your incite and i will hope to keep you all posted.

I just picked some up and am running it in a side-by-side comparison in flood and drain tables. Hit me up in 55 days, i'll tell you how it did.

One more Question Guys... Is it safe to put great white Straight into the Reservoir along with all of my other nutes or would I isolate the plants and feed them that way?

what kind of comparison are you doing?? one with myco the other without??
I hear alot of people talk about how fucking awesome Great White is and the unending list of beneficials in it.
But honestly, in soil ....i've used Plant Success granular at 4 dollars for about 50 or more apps. While i don't know if i over did it. I can't keep my rootzone in check ... within a week after i repot i have healthy white roots pouring out the bottom....
.....eh......not to hijack the thread. But ....is this normal.

I have 12 plants, six in each flood and drain table. Same strain, cloned from same mom. One table is getting GH nutes with Great white, the other is getting GH nutes with no great white. People that I would consider 'experts' have recommended it so I'll give it a try.

nice .... wish i knew a bit more about hydro. In due time. But i can only imagine the root mass you'll get from the Great White...like i was saying in soil ..my rootzone is getting unbearable i believe. I've never had the problem of roots growing out the bottom of containers so fast..

Are you going to journal this comparison as well? GH w/GW vs. GH no GW.
Based on reviews / threads on RIU I decided to buy some to add to my stockpile for the 1st grow. Bought a 4oz. jar for $30, curious to see how this will do using Dyna-Gro's line of nutes plus Sweet and Floralicious +. (Basing the grow off your DG vs. GH journal)

I wont be journaling it but I'll be using sweet and floralicious plus as well. The results will be posted at some point, somewhere ;).

How Far along should I use this product (Should I Grow the plants up their entire life's with it or should I stop using the product when I enter flowering or somewhere around there....etc.)? How often should I use the product (Every time I do a nutrient change or every other nutrient change or once a month.....etc)? How much of the product should I use?

im courious on purchasing some im about to switch over to advanced nutrients line but from what ive gathered great white is like tarantula and parana mixed together plus a little more...im going to run the hobbyist bundle(voodoo juice, big bud, overdrive, and b52) for additives and sensi a&b for the base veg. and flower nutrients...my thoughts were to just switch out and use great white instead of using parana or tarantula, how much do you use per/ gal when you use great white? im tryin to figure out how much i need for 16 plants start to finish

One scoop per 2 gallons , then depending on your container size, directions on label..small jar would definitely do it for you.
