Hi.
just want to contribute a little bit from my last experience.
if its old news, feel free to ignore it.
i had some 5 years old seeds and felt like going into growing again.
i said to myself that if the seeds will germinate ill do it.
well, 4 out of 4 ! now i have a problem, don't have a lot of space.
ok, so take a paper towl, fold it once and then again.
put some water on it and put the seeds between the paper.
put the wet paper inside a plastic bag and close it.
then, put the bag in a tin can and put the can on your modem\router\any other electric equipment that produce small amount of hit and work constantly.
after a day or two your seeds will pop out and send a white tail out.
this is the time to transfer it to your soil (if that's what you are using).
create a small hole (about 1-2 cm) with a pencil and put the seed with the white tail first.
cover it gently and that's it.
