Great read on illegal pot grows in California

Two black bears, a deer, and a gray fox.

The decomposing corpses are strewn among 7,000 pounds of propane tanks, tarps, car batteries, fertilizers, pesticides, banned rodenticides from Mexico, and other trash, plus 4,000 pounds of irrigation line blanketing an abandoned 20,000 plant illegal marijuana grow site in northeastern California’s Lassen National Forest. What was once unspoiled landscape is now a pockmarked 12-acre slagheap reminiscent of no man’s land.

Cali-fornia rodent pesticide weed. Humboldt also uses pesticides. I know bros up in Humboldt working at slave grows not this horrible illegal toxic dumps but almost as bad. It is disgusting what they are doing to pristine land.

The weed in CO is usually so much better. I do not trust any Cali weed.

Many of us grow responsibly, I'm 100 organic, the ones who do these fucked up grows usually aren't from here, they come to get rich and they don't give a shit. Humboldt is like the old west it's crazy over there.

You ever stop and think this is media and law enforcement pumping this shit up ?

Notice it says illegal ? It's just a media play down to the industry.

A few years ago there was a drug cartel grow on the property behind mine,15,000 plants, it was ugly and damn sure not legal. I still don't use water from the creek that they were using because of the shit they used that was smuggled in from Mexico. Once you see it for your self you won't forget it.

Completely predictable. When the government is an anchor to fixing a festering problem you always get a scab.

I agree but this was just a stab at all pot growers . Not just illegal cartel grows . It's propaganda .

I know in parts of CO that if these evil scum bags with rat poison showed up near some people's land they would get shot.

Contrast this with moonbeam sh*tbag trying to disarm everyone. How did one family rule the state for about 30+ years aka the Brown family. Oh yeah - Jerry was a Jesuit aka Illuminatist in training.

US Gov's MJ Grow policy isn't made to help the true " weed community" out , it's made to help themselves out and big Corps., there fore the cartels will seep through the currently status, which prices r up hill. That's flamboyant.

my 2 cents...

Moldy. I know a stoner who grew in OR and CO and he said OR was much harder to grow in.
its all opinions, i guess i got lucky and live in a state that went rec legal pretty early
I do agree the outdoor guys really really have it rough here, if your not in a green house, your going to have powdery mildew and lots of bud rot,, the outdoor crops here this year suffered bad,,,
we dont have much of those issues indoors,, but who does when we control our environments,
personally i would not want to have to deal with the sub zero temps in colorado,, oregon is very mild temp wise,, unless your used to southern california,, so its perspective i guess
