Well, I've been lurking around the forums for long enough. Figured it's time to finally make a post, what better than starting my 2013 journal? Here goes. Hopefully I can keep up to date with the posts.

I started my seeds on Feb. 1st and started with 9 different strains.

2 - DeadHead OG (CALI CONN.)
1 - Super Sour OG (EMERALD TRIANGLE)
1 - Space Queen (TGA)
1 - Cannalope Haze (DNA)
1 - Power Kush (DinaFEM)
1 - OG Amnesia (DinaFEM)
1 - White Siberian (DinaFEM)
1 - Chem Dawg (LOCAL)
2 - Purple Trainwreck (LOCAL)

I had a few males (one C-Haze and two Purple TWs) and got rid of those a few weeks ago. Here is what everything looks like. They won't be going outside for another week or two (greenhouse) or up to a month (full terms). I'm currently feeding with only MaxSea.

Here are the Mommas (just took clones off of them last night):

Furthest row L to R: Super Sour OG, Chem Dawg
Middle row L to R: Space Queen, DeadHead OG, Purple TW
Front row L to R: Purple TW, OG Amnesia, White Siberian

Here is another shot of them from a better angle:

And the rest of them:

From left: Deadhead OG, Cannalope Haze, Power Kush
What you see in the 1 gallon bags are the first set of clones taken. They were the first tops taken from the mommas too.

And here are all of the clones taken so far. They are about 3-4 weeks old.

I'll try and keep updated as often as possible, enjoy the photos and I hope everyone has a grate season!!

are you rooting the clones before or after putting then in party cups?
Yeah I root them before in Root Riot cubes. Usually takes 8-10 days on most of em and get pretty good success rates

Did they look like this? had a few that did that but left them in the dome for a few days to see what would happen. They rooted and were transplanted and are now doing fine. gave them some MaxSea and they loved it.

They look great. Mojo to your grow.
Thank you!

Right on Grateful! Welcome to the RIU! Great way to start a thread also by the way. Pics and all! How old are the mommas?

Took a bunch of fresh clones on Sunday. They're all looking good, hoping for 75% or more to root.
(took the dome off for the picture. I don't use a heat mat though)

Hey guys! Sorry it's been a minute since I updated, been busy getting ready to bring the plants outside. Greenhouse is almost complete :). Anyway, here's some pictures of how everything is looking. All the plants in cups are about to go into 1 gallon grow bags and everything in one gallon is about to go into 3 gallons. I'm working on taking some good individual pictures of plants, so i'll try and get those up tonight. Anyway, here's some shots:

Alright, did a whole bunch of transplanting yesterday. I was originally going to transplant from solo cups into 1 gallon bags, but decided to go directly to 3 gallon to save some time in the long run. I figured i'd show what kind of soil and everything I use, too.

I use ROYAL GOLD soil, their BASEMENT and TUPUR brands. I use one whole bag of Basement to one half bag of Tupur. I mix them evenly into a 30 gallon tote and than add 2-3 gallons of water to get the soil nice and moist. I than mix it up again until it's all even.

I fill up a 3 gallon growbag a little more than half way, making sure the soils packed in quite well. I than add 2 tablespoons of MYKOS to the soil and mix that in until I can't see any clumps of it.

And here is the final result! After a few hours of playing in the dirt, all transplanting is done. As you can see, I'm pretty much out of room for my babies.. Which can only mean one thing. Time to take them outside! The greenhouse is almost ready for them, but the full terms will be hanging out inside for a little while longer.

Super excited to get this season under way! Looks like it's going to be a nice, warm, long summer again! (Knock on wood)
