Graphite thermal interface pads instead of thermal paste, anyone else using them?

I built a pretty rad new DIY LED grow light using 16 CXB3590 passively cooled. I'll be posting pics of the finished product on here soon, but I just want to know if anyone else on here has used the graphite thermal pads instead of the thermal paste? They look like they will be good as an interface between the LED's and their heatsinks but I'm wanting to make sure before I even do my first power up testing and then heat tests. Please if you have used them or know someone who has let me know!

I used them for 8 3590's at 64watts ec.
And you're using them alone, no thermal paste as a backup or for extra heat transfer? I'm gonna be running my chips hella soft at 700mA for the highest possible efficiency so around 22w each. This also allowed me to go with the smallest possible passive heatsinks. I haven't had the chance to fire it up yet as I just needed to be sure the graphite pads alone are ok to use. Thanks for the reply dude!

Only using them yes. At 22watts, I feel anything will work bro. Your shit barely will get hot.

It won't be as good as an uber thin layer of good thermal paste. But at 22w meh, run it.
