Grampa's photos - Travels and whatnot

Hi.

I was driving across Russia on my way to Mongolia .... as you do!

I started to notice familiar shapes popping up amongst the farmers wheat fields.

So I pulls over down a side track for a nosey......

Damn stuff was every where... here is an up-close.

So, "When in Rome....!" - I whipped up a quick smoking device out of a bit of garbage, dried some leaves on the heater vent, pulled over, stuck on some tunes and got trashed during a humdinger of a thunder storm. It is a nice memory to drift back to during gloomy days.

Hey blunt, it was growing wild... fucking everywhere!

This small forest of weed was over 6 feet tall at the side of the road.

As for the size of my bowl ... erm ..... I'm a bit of a lightweight :spew:

But I do enjoy a nice little smoke. Each to their own hey :peace:

Take care

wow, thats wonderful. yeah even if it was someones grow you could probably take a whole plant without notice lol. were there chunks missing from deer?

I didn't see any signs of wildlife damage.

Although I hit a deer a few days later. I was so upset, I love animals. I don't even know if it survived coz it legged it.

This photo shows the deer damage and also a bloody rock fell of a truck the next day and put my windscreen through, then it pissed down with rain. Not the highlights of the trip!!!!! Anyway, still made it back to the UK.

The Russian ditch weed on the side of the road is pretty awesome. Do you have any pictures of Mongolia to share??

Grampa, I am envious of your adventures! I love hiking, camping, anything outdoors away from the busy life we get so caught up in. Cant wait to get outta college and start to REALLY learn, by seeing the world first hand.

Hey NEO,

First off may I say "Nice to meet another Linux fan" - I dual boot Win 7 and Ubuntu 10.10. Linux is bloody addictive and such fun!

Regarding Mongolia here are a few piccies. All I can say about Mongolia is 'friendly, vast, beautiful, untouched'

All my photos are dry and dusty because I skirted the Gobi Desert.

Hope you like.

Take care.

Yeh, M F, nice piccies.

I am not a huge fan of cities but the American countryside certainly is stunning! Makes me sad to live on this pokey, over-crowded rock!

I used to take pics every where I went wile traveling all over for 22 years. I have some film now that needs to be developed
AND its probably 10 or more years old. Old shoe boxes of pictures are now in storage.

I do not take many pics these days. not many on my cell even. in the 5 years I'v had camara in my cell phone I'm sure
I have not snapped more than 75 - 100 total. Not many of my grow either.

Thank you and all of the posters here that have shared.
