Whatsup Growers
I been growing for a few years, but the past year it's been more serious. I now have a fully operational perpetual harvest going on. I experiment with a lot of different techniques and am still learning a lot. I consider myself a novice, maybe not a complete noob, but definitely someone who can benefit from the more knowledgeable growers on this site.

PERPETUAL HARVEST FOR PERSONAL CONSUMPTION
ENVIRONMENT:
SPACE: It's in a bedroom, the exact measurements I'll edit in later, but it fits my 8x4 flower tent, 4x4 veg tent, and my 1x1 cloning chamber.
WATER: I use tap water. We have very soft tap water where I live, measures about 30 ppm straight out of the tap. I collect the water in 65l buckets and let the chlorine evaporate before using the water
LIGHTING: I use HID lighting and a CFL for the cloning chamber. More detail in each section.
TEMPS: I don't use an aircon so my temps do get a bit high. They range between 27 - 30º celcius. I might get an aircon if I take out one of my flowering lights. This is a plan that I'll discuss in later posts.
HUMIDITY: Generally my humidity is around 50%, both in Veg and in Flower. If the humidity get's a bit low, which is usually in winter, I increase the veg humidity with a basic humidifier. Does a good job at maintaining 50 - 60% humidity all year round.
GROW MEDIUM: I use coco, which I grow both organically and hydroponically. We'll get into this in later posts.
CLONING
It's a small 1 x 1 ft chamber (roughly) that I made in a cupboard. I removed the cupboard doors and made an extender platform with a piece of wood. I am in the process of modifying this cloning chamber, so I'm not going to post too much information about this until it's done.
I use the chamber for clones or seeds, depending on what I'm growing. I started with just seeds but for the past few months I have been experimenting with cloning. It's been going well so that's something I'm going to continue.
My current grow style is clones --> SOG but I'm flowering a 3 plant SCROG in the one side of my 8x4 tent. Like I said, I'm always experimenting.
At the moment I have 2 trays of clones busy rooting and another 12 clones that have already rooted and that are hardening. I always have plants in the cloning and hardening phase, even if I don't end up using the plants, I like to practice my different techniques. My cloning, vegging, and flowering chambers always have plants in them.
VEG
At the moment my veg tent is populated with 5 mothers. 4 are well established but 1 is still growing. The 4 established mothers are all organic. 3 of them are OG kush (fem) and 1 is a swazigold. I'm probably going to get rid of this strain at some point, but I'm centimental, so we'll see.
FLOWER
The flowering 8x4 chamber I divide into 2 4x4. The 1 4x4 is currently filled with 3 OG Kush (fem) plants that I grew from seed. They are in a SCROG and today is their last day of their 7th week. So tomorrow we're starting week 8 and harvest is around the corner. The buds are dense and the smell is lovely. My carbon filter is doing it's job and keeping things nice and clean in the room.
On the other side of the 4x4 I have two sets of clones that are different ages. All of them are grown SOG. The first set is made up of 8 plants growing in organic SOG. They are AK x Northern Lights x White Widow - a potent strain that I have flowered out a few times and I enjoy it very much.
The other set of SOG are growin in coco, but hydroponically. They are flushed with nutrient solution every day, with 1 day of the week reserved for a FloraKleen flush. They grow very fast using this method and they are already the same size, if not bigger, than the organic SOG plants which are a good 3-4 weeks older. They are also Akhishwe plants and there are also 8 of them.
DRYING & CURING
My drying space is a bit of a mess at the moment, becuase I do it in my bedroom. It's the only room in my house that stays nice and cool so I'm doing the best I can. This is an area that I need a lot of help with still becuase I feel like I'm not handling it to the best it can be.
