Government-funded Marijuana Research Center at Ole Miss University

I read a while back that there is a Government-funded marijuana research center at Ole Miss University (in Mississippi).

I read in High Times a few issues back that the university claims to have developed a strain of marijuana that has 36% THC, however there has been no independent confirmation of this.

Does anyone know what all marijuana research is being done there, and for what purposes?

ive heard the ole tale about g13 being devoloped there but like i said it was more than likely a tall tale . but with that said i know they did do some research on mj at ole miss .
