Gotta move plants, Eyes on me

Hey everybody.. Well, things aren't looking so good for me. I'm doing an outdoor grow, Out of 15 seeds.. I threw one away (Only 14 could fit under my light). Gave one plant away to a friend. And out of the other 13, 12 are females! My largest one is 8 feet tall. To everyone this might sound amazing.. But I think I'm being watched. There is ATV trails close to my plot, new foot trails that aren't mine.. and don't seem to be a path a deer would take.. and I broke 3 big rules..

1.) Never tell ANYBODY who isn't involved
2.) NEVER EVER make trails to plants, always use a different path.
3.) Covor up your shoes or wear something with no tread to avoid tracks.

The Anti-Marijuana choppers are all over my town, and I'm very afraid the trails are visible from the air. I could be 100% parinoid that someone knows, but I've always learned to trust my gut and it has never done me wrong.. There are eyes on me.. So here is my plan and I need any help I can get..

I need to move the plants.. only 4 at the most, and kill the rest ..

I have a plan to move them, but what is the best way to dig them out and put into a 5 gallon bucket without killing them in the transplant? How deep do the roots go? Is there any suggestions how I should go about this and/or what I might need? Someone please help. I love my babies but not enough to spend 5 years in prison for a PLANT!

Thanks everyone! I'm bout to go toke up and calm my nerves! I'll take a hit for all you guysss... Be easy! :blsmoke:

yea man, i almost had a VERY close call, its a very good thing that my landlord is a stoner....he almost weedwacked my babies :(.......who weedwacks around their lagoon anyways? arg. that and i live....50~ meters away from the towns airport, copperchoppers flyover avery other day.

i think the only way to do it is like.....a 2 person job, especialy with babies that large.
the only thing i can think of is doing it like a tree. see how far out the "feeder roots" (topsoil rooting) go and shovel down 3 1/2 feet down, and insert into 20 gallon drum, like a clean garbage can or a wine/whiskey barrel.

^^ don't transplant unless you absolutly have to.....back to edit this part in a min....theres a DIY security thingy around

I suggest not moving them. For one thing, you might hurt the plants by damaging the roots. For another thing, if you're being watched, you don't want to go there! I suggest you just forget about them for a few weeks to a couple of months. By then, if the cops ARE watching them, they may give up and just destroy them. If they AREN'T being watched, then they'll still be there when you return. Just stay away for a while and cross your fingers. Nature should take care of them in your absence.

If its not your property. I would say try transplanting your 4 into pots. If they are 8 ft tall, chances are the roots will not fit into a 5 gallon. Probably safer to use something bigger but you wont know until you try transplanting one. Once you do the first one you will know what you need to do. leave the other ones there unless they are on your property, just dont visit them anymore. Then when youre transplanted ones are ready for harvest you can go get em, quick in and out. put on your "bird watching" gear or "take your dog for a walk in the bush". Bam a couple extra ounces! I wouldn't kill them but hey if thats what you want to do...

What if the cops are staking them out? Dutch said that there are new trails leading to the plants and other indications that someone knows about them. When cops find plants, they usually lie in wait for the owners of the plants to return. Or, they set up cameras. If this is the case, your suggestion will get Dutch put in jail. I happen to enjoy MY freedom... so I'd stay the hell away from em for a good while.

if they are 8' tall how would u move them even if you could dig them up?? those arent plants anymore their trees ;)

very sorry for what your going thru but the risk isnt worth the reward dthis time and i would do as others mentioned, go sneak a peak in a week or two? maybe set up some simple things to let you know if som1 has been there? like a piece of thread across some nearby trees????

best of luck

Ok man, this is what I would do. 9 plants, especially 8 footers, is a LOT of bud. I wouldn't be able to just kill them. I would go to my local hunting outfitters shop, or ebay or whatever, and get one of those motion-sensing trail cameras for deer. Some save it on memory stick, but the higher end ones, a couple hundred dollars, send the pictures directly to your cell phone or (what would probably be safer and preferable in your circumstance) an email (hushmail) address. Put that bastard on the new trail you are seeing, of course wear some sort of face covering when you go out because
Or, they set up cameras..
If you can afford it get two or three, think of it as an investment.

Still move the four (sorry, can't be of any help as to how to do that) to your safe spot but keep an (electronic) eye on the others. This way, if someone steals them you are still fucked, but if the law are posted up waiting for you at least you won't show up. Maybe you're just being paranoid, and everything will work itself out and you'll get some nice wildlife photos.

BTW, this is probably a horrible idea, but it is what I would do. Is there a trail leading from the plants to your place of residence? I guess that is most important. If not, either invest in a camera, bushnell makes nice ones, or leave it alone until october and come back and see what is what.

Damn I hate to see a plant die!

Just leave em be,even if you were to move em,where would you put em?You would most likely just create another trail.Just my opinion :peace:

O.K well he said he wanted to transplant 4 of them, so I took that as its safe enough to do. My mistake, If your sure that someone knows about them then ya dont even go back there, Copters around my area only search for weed sept to mid october unless they have been tipped off. If your in an area with a big big budget for eradication they ya they might be searching for it now.
but ya nevermind what I said if your sure the cops know about it.

You doubt the cops are watching? Oh I see... because cops don't do that, right? They just let people cultivate Marijuana in peace. Gotcha.

so they are going to leave so when they come back the marijuana is already harvested? no.

how did i know some ass would say that? maybe i am a cop?

im really not but u think some cop is going to continuously go back there to find absolutely the same thing that was there before? most likely, they would have already done something with it.

and if it were the cops i think they might have taken a little sneakier approach then atvs and new trails.

For 8 plants, Itd be pretty safe to say they would just eradicate it, it would be considered a personal grow. too much paper work unless your cops are real fucking nazi's.

How old are you? You sound like a little teenager. You can't even carry on a discussion without name calling. You have no clue of what I'm talking about and you have no idea how the cops work.

The cops will hide in the bushes and wait for the cultivator to come back and then arrest them. OR, they will set up cameras so that they have the offender ON VIDEO. That will be enough evidence to go and arrest them. Incriminating video is enough for a conviction.

Grow up.

Cops have been know to camp out at grow spots. Even for the big 10,000 plant ops they will only stakee it out for 2-4 weeks before going in and eradicating it. For a personal grow....? not in my area.

cops would not wait there everyday, all day, all night(too expensive). If your not willing to risk it transplanting then just wait till harvest and do it at 3am and wear something over your face just in case. 2 things will either happen, you'll go check and the plants are gone or the plants will be there and you'll be busy for a week with lots of buds.
