first decide what the focus will be. If it is a news site, "letsgrowpot.com" does not make sense. :)

If you want to cover all three subjects, then a more generic name would be better. IDK just my 2 cents.

How about some domain name suggestions. And none of you aholes take it if it's available. :)

you wont get it for 75$..says it has a reserve meaning they want probably close to what its worth

When you find a domain you want to buy use namecheap.com. Better pricing than godaddy, never had an issue with support. Once you have a your domain build your site using squarespace, some people like wix, I would use sqaurespace or wordpress first.

I think this is a great idea! A site that centers around MJ, perhaps with growers who could share tips and give advice to noobs, where these growers could have journals (we could call them grow journals!), and perhaps some other sub-forums where people interested in MJ could chat about all things MJ. If you find such a site, or start one yourself, I'm joining for sure ;) You could use this title, 'It's all going to Pot' or 'Gone to Pot' some variation on that pun. You're welcome...

Says low reserve, though not sure what it's really worth, I like the name, I think it could bring in traffic on that alone? What would you think it's actually worth?

Heheh. I was also thinking about making a social network out of the site, a facebook like site.

Maybe potface.com
weedface.com

I don't know.

Then last fall, the company got a call from Apple that MassRoots and other marijuana-related apps were being shut out.

Isaac Dietrich, the 22-year-old chief executive of MassRoots who helped “conceptualize MassRoots while smoking in a college apartment,” according to the Web site, says MassRoots’ time will come. “Eventually Apple is going to change their policy,” and his company is “the first one in the gate, and hopefully will dominate this niche.”
