Got some feminized seeds ... but

I usually use clones for my grow, but a club I go to has a sign selling Feminized Seed 99.9% .

So I figure, after the summer heat I'll start a couple of 5 packs and run a couple.

Since they were "99.9%" I let the veg for 4 weeks and something didn't look right?

Expecting to see Female pre-flowers, but I thought I was going crazy, they looked like males.

I have 10 plants veggin under a 400 watt MH and then switched them to 12/12 under 600 watt hps.

Then I started to move them outside. I got eight males! I really couldn't believe it.

I wasted almost 2 months of grow time, 2 months of electricity, 2 months of nutes and $100 worth of soil.

I called them up and they were very understanding and offered me more seeds or 6 clones.

I said I'll be right over. Talking to the Bud Girl, she indicated that the same thing happened to her. But she was growing outside and could not recover her time.

Unfortunately they still have a sign on the box of seeds they are selling saying "99.9%"

Just venting. I cloned my Pre-98 Bubba, and was able to clone 1 White Widow (took 3) , so I am starting to run them. I am now growing Mad Chem, and Haze I got from them.

Feminized seeds? Third post i've read in the last 8 minutes about fem'd seeds going hermie. Not worth the trouble, but I hear some turn out great. I will never find out.

It really just cost me 2 months of growing, here in Kalifornica clones are always available.

If I buy seeds again, I think I will buy them from overseas

I think feminized seeds go hermie for two reasons, bad genes and stress. What breeder did you use seeds from? Just for personal knowledge.

Feminized seeds never hermied on me. I'm sure it generally sucks. Soma, Reserva, KC Brains are all breeders whose fem strains never hermied on me.
I don't always choose fem seeds but those three are good breeders for fem seeds.
