I love swimming in the ocean, it feels like the most natural thing in the world! I dunno, I feel kind of refreshed and rejuninated after a dip in the ocean. Rivers are intimidating though. So strong, if it wants to suck you under or take away it wont even flinch. New Zealand has some awesome rivers, I stay in the small ones though.

Kayaking for me is pretty scary, getting stuck upside down and not being able to role back up. I think those guys that river kayak are some of the craziest dudes around!

Fuckin Spiders Man. Now, I have chilled a bit on it, but if they catch me off guard I still flip like a little girl.

Im also afraid of how Im going to die. Not that I want to know....I just wouldnt mind it being peaceful instead of brutal.

Just don't spend your life worrying about dying otherwise you will never live. The world is brutal man, no need to be scared though. Pain is relative, and can be surpassed. What you feel in the end, is up to you.
:) Sorry got a little philosophical there.

Yeah man, I'm from New Zealand we have the South Pacific on our eastern coast. It's cold and dark for sure, but i'm not worried. I have been swimming with dolphins and seals. It's not that bad, but I understand where you are comming from. The oceans are fairly unknown and otherworldly for us. I was reading that our knowledge of the ocean's, it's inhabitant's, geography and all that, is so small. We know almost nothing about our own oceans. So yeah, you're right, there could be some freaky shit down there hahaha.

i have like 2 phobias and thats it. as a kid i was HIGHLY arachnaphobic, but now that i'm 31, spiders don't hardly bother me that much anymore. i used to like literally have a damn near heart attack if saw even the smallest spider. now, i can kill my own :)

here's my other good one that went in reverse. as a kid i never had ANY fear of heights or anything like that... now as i get older, i have a terrible fear of heights. and the best part about it, i'm a fucking private pilot. i fly small planes, and when i fly, my fear of heights is a complete non-issue, i never get even the slightest bit nervous in the air. but put me on a balcony any higher than the 3rd floor of a building, and i turn white as a ghost.

Im scared of spiders and the ocean.I almost drowned in there when I was little so fuck that lol.
And I know some lady who was bit by a spider and its poison really fucked her up,Her whole side turned black and scabbed up.They eventually had to do some major surgery on it and when it was done they had to leave a hole in her open so she could have a nurse come by and vacumn some shit out her side for a month.

swimming in the ocean when your smacked is the best feeling in the world. (other than having sex when your smacked)

Im so fucking scared of all bugs except for ants. anything else scares the shit out of me. if a bug comes into the room, i wont try and kill it. I usually get up and get my weed, run out of the room, and lock it shut until the next day.

My weakness: Spiders.

You're all going to sigh, but it's not a superficial fear. I'm scared of any real spider, regardless of the size. But I'm not scared of ones on tv or in books. It's not that I find them creepy or gross, it's a genuine fear, enough to induce a panic attack.

What surprises people is I love snakes, bats, rats, mice, frogs, slugs, snails, beetles... whatever. I will pick up just about ANY animal most people are scared of but don't you fucking ask me to go near an ant-sized spider. Holy crap I sound like a wuss...

I've always had a thing about spiders. Especially Black Widows, as they are just a part of living here. You have to watch where you put your hands.

Lately, I worry about cancer and car wrecks. I'm 41 now, and I've seen too many folks I know turn up with the big C and then be dead by years end.

I got rear-ended two years ago, hard. That shit hurt. I was in my F-150 and they were in a BMW sedan. I was just waiting for a red light to turn green and then BAM and I was in motion. It's weird the shit you remember about things that only last a second or two, but I had a years worth of drive-through change (coins) in one of my cup holders. Right after the impact, when I found myself violently moving, I remember all that change flying around the cab, and it looked almost like snow flakes from some animated movie. I can still see them, paused in air, the entire cab filled with a swarm of dimes, pennies, nickles and quarters.

But yeah, if I'd been in a little car, or even worse, on a motorcycle, I'd have gotten seriously fucked up. So I worry about being killed by some moron not paying attention.
