Hell Yeah! I can't wait to try it out. http://www.iinhale.com/ The company's been making high quality heat tools for years and years, so I expect they know wtf they're doing.

Do any of you own one? Whaddaya think about it?

The 'dopefiend' did a review on it. See http://dopefiend.co.uk/ , click dopecast on the right, and then find number 148.

He said the hits were similar to his volcano, but it is totally portable, flameless... and no worry about batteries. Sounds good to me. I plan on putting this thing in a McDonald's cup and strolling around the mall to do some high christmas shopping! :)

I'm in the middle of final exams, so it will probably be next week before I try it out. (I can't smoke and study at the same time... my mind wanders off and I end up pondering the deep questions instead of stuffing my mind full of facts like I need to for exams.)

I'll post a report once I hit it if it is as good as people claim.

looks nice.

edit. but for $250 I'll pass.

I hear ya. From what I can see, though, there aren't many quality precision temperature controlled vaporizers for less then that. There may be a couple, actually, but most of the $150 versions either are flame driven (too easy to burn) or are made of cheap plastic that gives off strange tastes and fumes.

I fucking hate coughing... so it may be worth it if it lasts a long time. Gotta get myself something for christmas anyway.

I lightbulb vaped for a while, which tastes horrible and is inefficient. But even that turned me on to vapor with how easy it was on my lungs while still getting me lit. I was going to get an herbal aire, since people say it is as good or nearly as good as the volcano. But once I was convinced this produces just as high a quality vapor... I figured why not? Same cost, but you get total portability and no batteries to worry about replacing.

I guess we'll see.

Damn... this thing gets me high has hell. I mean *damn!*

This is the first real, professionally made vaporizer I've ever had. The same amount of bud as I would normally smoke gets me twice as high, easily, with this thing. Seriously.

I get thick hits off of it too. And they taste good. And this freakin' thing looks like a walky talky. I'll be able to just walk around the neighborhood holding it in my hand, hitting it once in a while. I'm not kidding. This has got to be one of the coolest things I've ever owned. Ever.

I really, really want one, any rich strollers by fancy being charitable :P.
If you're ever in NC, come on by and we'll hit it. But its going home with me. :bigjoint:

I've been looking at vapes for well over a year, and just haven't wanted to fork up the cost. But merry-fucking-christmas... as soon as I saw this thing I knew I had to get one.

I've never tried other vapes though, so I have nothing to compare it too. None of my friends around here vape. Wish they did, because I'm certainly not buying a volcano or herbal aire to compare it too.

Maybe next christmas...

It's not that I haven't been able to save for a decent vape, its that I haven't wanted to fork over the money for one. I didn't want to spend so much on something that has to be plugged into a wall, and the battery-powered vapes seemed like they would be a pain in the ass since they are battery hogs. So I guess you could say that portability is more important to me then vapor quality. But the reason I bought this unit is because I felt I didn't have to choose between those two things. What I like best about this is that it is a real vaporizer, *and* it is portable.

I have no reason to buy another vaporizer at this point. I don't think I could ask for better quality vapor. I don't know, because I don't have much experience with higher end vaporizers, but I honestly can't imagine a product doing much better then this one.

My one complaint is that I wrote i-inhale with a question, and they haven't responded. I asked them about operating this unit below freezing (since I'm a winter backpacker), and they haven't responded. I pretty much know the answer (since butane's boiling point is near 32 degrees F., which is why butane stoves aren't good below freezing). But an answer would be nice... just because I do plan on having this thing out in that sort of weather.

I also asked them about the lifetime of the catalyst they use for the flameless heating. I'm wondering about potential maintenance issues, etc. They just have ignored my e-mail, which is pretty shitty.

That being said, I've heard their warranty and service, when it comes to replacing units with any problems is pretty good.

Using the I-inhale in cold weather is easy. You just need to put the i-inhale on an inside pocket that is warmer. You can also put it inside you gloves and let your hands warm it up. The only downside is you have to warm it up so that makes you have to wait a little bit longer, but all in all I think you should be fine.

Good advice. I'll just keep it in an inner jacket pocket in the daytime, and my sleeping bag at night. To be honest, if this thing really runs for 12 hours on one re-fill, I might even just leave it *on* all night in my sleeping bag. LOL They should market this thing as a vaporizer/sleeping bag warmer.

I just wanted to make sure whatever catalyst their using won't be harmed by freezing temperatures. I'll just assume they won't be. Nothing on the packaging mentioned to keep it out of the cold. I forgot it in my car last night, and it was 22 degrees. The thing still worked fine in the morning after I warmed it up. :blsmoke:

that looks tiny, how much can you pack up?
Now that I've messed with it more, I wouldn't put more then 1/4 a gram into the bowl. When they say 1/2 a gram, maybe they're talking about fresh, wet herb or something. To get more then half that I had to stuff things down a bit.

I'm surprised at how many hits this thing produces of a mere 1/4 of a gram though. I actually got lost count. Reloading is a snap too, as long as you have a toothpic or something to get the used out with. It stays hot and starts vaping the new bowl almost immediately.

I might as well update this thread (since I kind of bashed I-inhale for not responding quickly enough). They sent a response. They said butane wont flow when its -5 degrees Celsius outside. To overcome this all you have to do is warm the product up in your hands using body heat. After 5 minutes the product should be warm enough for the ignition to work. Once turned on the product will keep itself warm. Regarding the catalyst, it should never have to be replaced.

Cool!
