Got My Card!

Finally I got my card 4 months later....... Unbelievable, now I can finally go into the store I was always the outsider waiting in the car could never see what I was getting till they come out. Now just to bad they shut the dispensary down.

In OR your stamped papers are just as valid as the card, is it not like that in other states? and by the wayCONGRATS and welcome to the club....the big penis club.

I didnt like the paper work really it was always kinda fishy to me. Anyone can copy a paper, thats what I figured a cop would think and still go to jail my luck. But thank you for the warm welcome!

Still waiting on my card, but I use the paperwork. Friends of mine have 2 dispensaries so I'm good to go and no worries, but I still get extremely nervous just walking into these joints. With my paper work, I still have to show my drivers license when my friends aren't working. That's the only reason why copying is not a legitimate threat from using the paperwork.

I was looking at this card and it says it was issued Feb. 15. 2011 and i just get it now?

Yep, wicked backlog cause they have like... 4 people in there processing our shit. If even that many.

Edit: I fully expect people to have their card's validity challenged at some point because of the rubber stamp process some of these pot docs use. Hope it doesn't come to that, but we need a more friendly AG in office before I'll relax on the issue. It's kinda difficult to trust someone to uphold your rights when he's a confirmed opponent of our law.

Ya I have changed my caregiver and it has the old caregivers info on my card. So im kinda wondering on how this works out?

Well I feel for you. I dont see how I got my card before you. But then again I talked to this one guy he said he went in on march and got his card 2 weeks ago. He is terminally ill so I think they might expedite the proses or they go through the stack of papers, when they get done for the day they stack the new ones where they left off. haha. And the poor person who has to deal with all this paper work I hope they are getting payed good. I doubt it but maybe they got good benefits, im sure. I though I would get my card next month because when I check the website it tells you where they are at. Now they are doing early January, I got my pager work 1-11-11. I got it all send in on the 20th. When was your check cashed? My card was issued 10 days after my check was cashed.
