i am growing one plant under a 150 watt HPS, with two 23 watt CFL's for side lighting, the CFL's are 5000 Kelvins, i just started flowering 4 days ago, and i was wondering if the fact that the CFL's are 5000 Kelvins will have any effect on my grow? would it be worth it to go buy 2500K CFL's instead, any help would be appreciated,

It wont make a noticeable difference with that HPS. I suggest going to get a couple 2700K CFLs and use them IN ADDITION to the 5000K.

The CFLs pull such little amperage you can have many of them on the same circuit as the 150w HPS and not be close to pulling the (supposed) 15A max. - If you are concerned, find out everything that is on the same circuit(s) as your garden appliances and add up the total amps being used (assume everything is on at the same time - max usage). Then look in the breaker panel to see what your rating is. Most homes are wired with 15A circuits. You can also run a 20A circuit straight to your garden.

Hope this is helpful.

Anyone please correct me if I got anything wrong. I have done wiring but I am not an electrician.
