gooing away for a week ?? any things i need to do ??

hello im going away for a week and im paranoid that something will happen while away from my tent, i have a trust worth friend who is going to feed them for me , is there any precautions i can take to avoid any problems lol eg knowing my luck the bulb will explode and cause a fire or get spider might ,..... i smoke to much
