Good seed too start planting??? new grower

Hello everyone,im new too the forum! i am also new to growing and currently just germinated my first seed wich is flo kush, i am also planning to purchase seeds and would like to know what seed i should get? i am growing indoors, and need something that will grow fast and has lots of thc, also where too purchase them using paypal?
I would appreciate any info, thanks! :eyesmoke:

Yeah, PayPal has pretty strict policies, they won't even deal with seedbanks. You're better off using your credit card at either of the seedbanks advertising on the forum. I've ordered from Nirvana previously, haven't used Attitude but they have a good rep.

Good beginners strains, I don't know, Northern Lights & variants always seems to come up, white widow (although there are mixed opinions), I've heard Arjans Haze is easy and a kick ass smoke, but never grown it myself. I think the seedbanks advertised here might rank their strains on difficulty, check their pages.

everything everyone said.

if you want a really noob friendly beginner strain that's low odor & stealthy, northern lights #5 is THE classic cash cropper strain and in a lot of crosses, but i'd suggest trying something like mosca's C99 too (50 days flowering) for a strain that gets you high. MOST of the fast flowering "yield" oriented strains are going to have similar stoney buzzes with the gear that gets you the highest taking 9 weeks or more to flower, but C99 & A11 are fast flowering strains with sativa traits. you can still get joey weed's C99 x A11s and those are about to go extinct. i've tried his already gone C99 and loved it for activities at least as it's energetic & clear headed. A11 is a cross of C99 with genius that's mellower and trippier, so the two recombined should be a nice high. there's a breeder at attitude that has genius pheno apollo 11s that might be nice. i'd do some research on them before buying though.

the other nice thing about C99 is that most phenos of it are low odor like northern lights. the two strains would give you VERY different buzzes and there's a huge demand for strains that get you high as no one grows them except for head stashes generally. i've ONLY wanted to get high since the mid 80s myself and get pissed that no one has that kind of gear.

by all means grow what YOU like best, but i gotta try & steer you away from doing the same old same old as everyone else. if you've never gotten high yet, you just don't know what you're missing. if you find that you really like that, then you could go for even better stuff that you'll have to give a little more time & love to, but you'll get rewarded with the kind of gear that connoisseurs like me lust after. when i was gifted a gram of kali mist (very long flowering strain) i loved it so much, i gave up bidding on it at $120 an eigth because it was pure unobtanium. that's the ONLY kind of gear i'll grow... stuff that i'd smoke myself.

NL5 is a totally safe strain that's STILL classic & gives you good results too. i'll second a vote for that on the stoner front, but try some cinderella or apollo. those will have funner buzzes without taking forever.

nirvana's regular strains are cheap & great starters for beginners. white castle in particular is really stinky if you want a "dank strain" & manadala's gear is pretty cheap too AND very noob friendly to grow. his stinky hashberry wasn't my style, but his sativa dominant 8 miles high is in my top 3 faves, but all of those aren't going to be the fast turnover strains like you seek. C99 will be, but it's not my favorite as it's so energetic it's hard to sit still on & joey weeds' version wasn't particularly psychoactive where mosca's supposedly is,\.

BTW, TGA subcool & sannies are HUGELY popular breeders too that i've yet to hear bad rap for. you might try jilly bean for a fruity strain that's stoney, but with a lot of "happy" in it. a stoney strain with euphoria is way better than one that's just stoney to me. that's a nicer mid.

hope something here helps. i'd sat get NL5 & C99 (or C99 x A11 or just A11) for nice variety without having to worry about stinking your entire block up.

Peakseedsbc has a nice Northern Lights or Northernberry, at 40.00/10 seeds they are a good deal. Sannies has some nice selections for around 30.00 or so plus shipping. Nirvana does too, but you have to pick the strain u want, then ask here b4 ordering.

I agree with what the others have said. try Northern Lights (doesnt have to be #5.) the NL#5 is hard to come by in seed form imo as ive never seen it anywhere thats reputable.

Nirvana is known to have good easy to grow strains for a good price. NL is supposed to very VERY beginner friendly. also maybe a skunk strain. Very classic and pretty easy to grow. Those two should be somewhere at the top of your list.

Avoid strains that take more than 8weeks to flower when you're first starting out. the shorter flowering time the better as you will encounter lots of problems so a 14+ week picky sativa strain is not what you want. it'll just drive you crazy.

GHS gets a lot of bad press so take this part of my advice w/ a grain of salt but their AMS strain is supposedly good for beginners as well as its resistant to mold and other common marijuana plant problems.

For your first time through don't break the bank. just get something thats short flowering, stable/easy to grow. No need to blow 200 on beans because chances are you'll encounter loads of problems and come out with a substandard yield/quality of smoke. so save your $$$ for the expensive ones once you get some grows under your belt.

Don't use paypal. 1st off idk any seedbanks that accept paypal (legit ones anyway) and 2nd its a bad idea. you're better off using your atm/credit/debit card or sending in cash.

just let us what you grow & how it turns out. it's very different smoking weed you grew yourself. it just has an "i know you" familiarity. it isn't just random product you're forking money over for, it's a part of you in a way. i feel a swell of pride when i'm holding my own gear. i also grow the kind of stuff you can't get on the streets too, so for me, my stuff is extra special in a "i've waited 25 years for this shit!" way.

paypal works with the police, use your money wisely.
freakin' scary fucking narc bastards! too bad they don't work with the fucking police when you get scammed on ebay and just play pass the buck with them (same fucking company) so they can keep THEIR hot goods!

preach it brother preach it! when my full moon highland thai was just STARTING to flower when i was on my second harvest, i'd had enough and threw in the towel
- 16 cups? nope, forget seeing flowering
- 1.75 gallons? nope, STILL no flowering & i have to transplant AGAIN as leaves are starting to yellow
- 3 gallons? leaves are starting to yellow again, it's been MONTHS just waiting to see what i have and i've got freaking trannies spraying everything in my garden now! ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH!!!!! snip snip snip!

the leaf & TINY early bud i got for all that trouble smelled tutti fruity delicious, but it wasn't trippy like it was supposed to be and was much stonier than mids like blueberry & skunk #1! i imagine being light starved under a single 400w halide contributed to that.

now i know why everyone tried to talk me out of the IBLs i always wanted to try before. it really did drive me nuts fighting with thai and putting up with her/his demands.

i WAS much happier with 12 week haze x skunk though. especially because i mowed it down early i bet. it was getting big, but at least it was budding and the buds were awesome, but anything over 12 weeks? yeah... i don't want to mess with that shit until i can do it outdoors or have enough headstash to get me through half a year at least. waiting on that long a strain with nothing to smoke too would be too much to bear for me. LOL

oh man i love smoking my own buds. I know what im getting everytime. its not like buying off the local dealer and wondering is it gonna be fire...or is it gonna be overpriced mids? hell not paying $40-$50 per 8th or $250-300/oz is a blessing in itself. If i couldnt grow any better than some big bud mids id be happy with that just so i dont have to pay through the nose for buds. my gf and i were blowing through 2oz a month. doesnt sound like much but when you're paying $500-600 a month on bud it gets expensive.

The other thing i love is when i give some bud to my friends (they obviously don't know that i grow) and they tell me how great it is and tell me to never lose my connect. lmao. it makes me feel good and want to jump up and say," HEY! I GREW THIS SHIT!" but i can't...if i ever stop growing im gonna "come out of the closet" and finally get to brag. however i don't intend on stopping anytime soon so i'll have to keep quiet.

When i first grew people were like, "dont buy that shit...it sucks" lol so thats how i measure how good im getting at growing...let me friends smoke it lol

as you pointed out the other good thing about growing is we don't have to smoke mids or 100% indicas all the time...which is what is usually on the street anyway. sativas are hard to come by because most for-profit growers don't bother with them as the flowering is longer and the yield is generally less.

my dream is to get a good outdoor spot/setup going and plant some 100% sativas but since i live in a big city outdoor grows aren't easy to accomplish.

EDIT: to be honest i feel kind of nuts for attempting to grow Acapulco Gold indoors its 90-95% sativa and i vegged 5wks. lmao. i LST'd it pretty well though so its not even my tallest plant but by the end of flowering im gonna have to give it its own 600w light i can already tell.

thankfully i have some 7-9wk strains so when they finish up im gonna put the AG under its own light. i wont attempt nearly pure sativas indoors anymore. also the AG is lanky and it wont support the buds when they come in as its leaning already and some branches have had to be tied up to bigger branches

A few strains that I had success with early on was Whiteberry and Power Plant both yield well and are real good quality. As far as northern lights goes look into Dr Atomic's Northern lights, and Mr. Nice just released Ortega which I believe is a NL 5 version.

Hey there! Not too many banks accept paypal. I would try using a prepaid card. Cool username by the way.
If you still want kushes popping up I gotta suggest a strain from TH Seeds called Kushage. Attitude carries TH Seeds they are hands down the best shipping. It would give your Flo Kush a run for its money that's for sure. The strain is a S.A.G.E. and OG Kush, S.A.G.E is one of the best strains I get over here so any crosses with it should be hot. TH Seeds also breeds a Burmese Kush which is a cross of two kush strains, Burmese and OG. Their OG is up there for the price.

I would go for an easy indica/sativa hybrid like Skunk#1 or Armageddon. if you want my opinion for an amazing first strain : TGA-Vortex. My first strain i grew from tga is still my favorite but ive grown nearly half of his stuff because the impression of each successive grow (namely Vortex, Agent orange, Pandora's box)

Hazeygrapes said alot. Good strains listed all around.
What I would add is even if you are new, that doesn't mean you shouldn't try for more exotic strains. You're going to have em going for long enough, lots of time and care, wouldn't it be nice to have something really unique? Just wanna poke the fire a little ha. Three strains I really like that don't get enough credit are: Sensi Seeds, Serious Seeds, DJ Short Seeds.
Here are my recommendations, For Sensi Seeds, you can get something more expensive like Fruity Juice (known for this) or something less expensive like the Sensi Skunk that is still reaaally good.
Serious Seeds- White Russian, Chronic. My first strain was a White Russian!
DJ Short- Vanilluna. Not as finnicky.

yeah, it's a GOOD IDEA to NEVER tell anyone you grew something. you NEVER KNOW when someone's going to flip on you or start getting an attitude because you don't have a constant supply of that harder to produce gear. i've known at least one grower that had a dime dropped on him by a supposed friend, but yeah, i bet you get a big pride boost when your friends comment on how much better your shit is than the street beasters that they're stuck with. back when you still could get strains that get you high, i STARTED OUT smoking california grown columbian gold imported to NY and despite the fact i'd only been smoking a month or two when i blazed a former schoolmate i was giving a ride to out and when i got him to take a second look at the wheatgrass by the side of the road that looked like "weird headed aliens" marching towards the car a 2nd time after he called me crazy & i had to emphasize WEIRD HEADED, he said "oh shit! it DOES look like aliens! man this is some good shit!" i was a little proud that i worked with such a good connection. i'd love to see the feedback i get when i have some spare to share, but i'm not letting anyone know it's mine. i hate lying, but know people are going to ask where i got it & i'm not about to start wearing a neon sign advertising my hobby.

ifi didn't say it yet, i REALLY like high quality seeds' haze x skunk. it's mild cheesy cigar wrapper with hints of ashtray flavor isn't my favorite, but it's freakin' potent, even more than gold, if not quite as trippy, but for indoor bud, it kicks much ass. i really wanna see how TGA's gear smokes asap. i'm hoping it's better in some way. the lemony flavor of jack's cleaner at least should be.

i really like it that there's so many growers & smokers here that are in it to smoke better than the cash crapper strains that are all you can find in so many places. i'm a little jealous of all the stuff i see as i haven't had anything for a while, but i'm working on fixing that next month and am happy for the people that have great stuff to blaze. the more of it that's out there, the less indica there is and i want to see gear that gets you high get some representation on the streets besides cali.

i like to think that the stuff you grow KNOWS when you love it. i like hanging out with the gals every night. that might be the real reason home grown is so much better... you spend sooooooooo long wanting to smoke it that's it's like christmas when you finally can.
