Good Rooting Solution for E Z Clone

Gels wash off the second the machine is cut on.

Powders won't work for obvious reasons.

Is there a solution that you pour into the rez to promote rooting?

Come on....

I need a good rooting solution for my rez....

I found, Power Clone Rooting Solution 32 oz 64 bucks plus shipping! Too expensive....

Anybody got another suggestion.....??

olivia's is fine for traditional propogation, but the ez cloner needs no solution at all. if you do feel the need to put something in try clonex liquid. This is totally unnecessary, all your clones need to root is water and air. The ez cloner provides ample amounts of both.

i mean some of them are starting to mass up with "root color" on the stem but no actual roots....

the ones that are living still look fine.....

maybe a Nitro build up is stunting them??

this is a good question, i have 2 120's and have about a 20-25% success rate. i thought it was supposed to make things less complicated and work intensive. what am i doing wrong? i keep things very clean, sterilize everytime. i have better success rate with the rockwool way, but trying to stick with this as i paid quite a bit of money for this just not to work. but, for the original poster, i believe in the instructions, it says to use dyna-gro's k-l-n and dyna-gro's protekt. which have given me less than optimal results. so i dunno what to tell you

are you phing and keeping temps right? are you purifiying your resevoir? also soak the cuts in the rooting solution the liquid gel that came with themachine the shop that sold you it should have power clone and the root gell but yea sounds like your not phing your water and your temps are messed up cause you can have straight water success i just find faster results with the power clone solution

Personally, I feel that water temps ideally need to stay in low 70's. if not, make sure to use some Clear Rez which will help clones to root (as opposed to rot) in temps as high as 85.
