Good Or Bad Idea??

I have an auto that is 1 month old, today. Ive made several mistakes with this plant that, im sure, have stunted it pretty good. At this point I feel as if I have it pretty much nursed back to a healthy state. This plant is about 6" tall. Although the plant has come back to a nice green, the 2 bottom sets of leaves are pretty yellow. My question is..."Would it be beneficial to clip the yellowing leaves or would it do it more harm than good, being that it has already gone through enough stress from other issues?"

Need to find out what's up with it really. If you post up some pictures and infrormation for what your growing in, feeding with and how often etc etc then someone might be able to help.
