So after my problems with my homemade humidity dome, I decided it may be time to give in and buy a decent one at least. I'll probably need a heat mat too. Anyone know what a good heat mat/dome is?
The mats run at a set temp. They are not thermostatically controlled.Any dome? They cost a couple bucks.
I use the hydrofarm heat mat for my seedlings etc. Just be careful as it pretty much just pushes heat 10 degrees + room temp so if your room temp is high it might be too much.
Yeah spend that extra. You didn't read what I said about temp sets? Buy their accessory thermostat set to accurately control your temp. It's critical.Hydrofarm heat mat sounds good. What's the nominal temperature for seedlings?
that one needs the thermostat control, another 35 bux or so.
