Should work, just don't let the stalks grow out too far, then you wont be able to bend it under, but I guess you could weave it kind of. any way it will work cool, make sure you sterilize it.

Its always good to sterilize because the smallest cell of whatever can cause your plants to rot and die, etc etc. 5 parts water 1 part bleach, just wipe/rinse it with the solution. Then rinse off really really reallly reallllly well with warm water. Voila. the bleach will get everything you want dead!!!. good growin what you gonna do bagseed or did you order out, whats your lights? I m doin heavy lst, Ill send you pics sometime. THats why I'm always in scrog threads.

Im LSTin now. I got some clones from a friend and they are bent for about a week. They are outdoor in 10 gl. pots. Ijust think it would be easier to scrog. Whats your oppinion on that. This pic is a few days old. They are bigger now.

For sure Scrog is a WAYYY easier method. no pinning, my problem with lst is after you have your bush formed its hard to get in there, the canopy gets really thick, which isn't bad its just hard to work with. Scrog controls the top without having to make it so dense, and you can take the screen off and its relatively easy to get in there and trim. With my lst I started when she was still little, and I was pretty agressive pinning new growth spreading her out rather than up, it worked and I got a thick thick canopy, but the original stem of my plant got covered up when I put a layer of perlite on top of my soil. So basically I made my main stem a root when I buried it, its really awesome it just looks like I have all these tops sproutin from perlite, but really the stem is just right under there all pinned to the ground. ***I've heard said "I've never had yields, like the yields I get with a ScrOg". Go with it, you might just become a ScrOg thumper. I probably would have done it if I had a screen at the time and a bit more space.

I have done 2 successful scrogs. They are a little high maintenance but it is good therapy. If you are a lazy grower, it can get away from you fast.
