does the recipe specify to use a fertilizer charge pack?

I purchased the TGA supersoil charge pack from TGA. I live in CA and don't have access to their premixed or base. I've seen many growers use a couple different brands for the base. Just curious if anyone out there thinks this stuff would be sufficient?

nah, dude, it's all good. That question was directed at the guy saying to stick to the recipe exactly as it's written.

I've never used "super soil" so I try to not comment or give advice on the subject. I check out the threads because I mix up my own water only soil from scratch and I've considered trying the super soil recipe, both subs version and the new tga version.

Not worth it imho... You can save a lot of money and have great yields in much cheaper set ups.....But if you bought it already, then use it. It will do great. But there are a ton of other set ups that would give you the same results for much cheaper.....

I already purchased the charge pack. have a hook on the Dr. Earths soil. just wondering if it may be too "hot" if i add the charge pack to it..

I used pro mix and had ok results. Ive almost doubled my yeild using nutes in pro mix/perlite/worm castings mix though. But my buds grown from the super soil were better tasting and more potent then grown from using nutes hands down.
