Golden rusty leaves? :(

On 1 of my bagseed seedlings some of the leaves have brownie gold looking chips/dents in the leaves? A mate says it could b frips? I cant see any bugs though :/ any1 know what it could b? Lights on at 10am GMT so ill upload a pic then Chears guys.

brownie gold chips. that's a very good description.
you're saying it's a seedling? might be the substrate, a heat issue, nutes.

No nute, could b heat, its 2 weeks old 3-4th node coming through

Lights are 125w 6u CFL + 4x 30w CFL + 400w MH Temps can & do reach 30c mid day Other plants are fine with it & they drink 1L a week :/

okay, so what you're saying is that only one seedling has these leaves?

Seems to be originating from the veins of the leaf... Sorry I couldn't be of any help haha. Is it only on the lower leaves?

Arent you the guy that was talking about getting a sponser if ur having issues in veg you probably shouldnt borrow someones money to start up promising a good return

This is my grow, at home. Soil, baby bio, 245ws of CFL. Nothing spesh, just getting some experience The plants are 3 weeks 12/12 including 14 day switch, im waitin 9 more weeks untill they finnish. While im waitin 9 weeks i will save for a Wilma 4 & 400w. Ive found a silent partener (Very good friend) All hes doing is fronting 300 pound in return for 800 at the end of 5 months. This means that ill hav 2 wilma 4s & 2x 400w So even at 2 Oz/per plant, 16 Oz, 200 each, 3200 - 800 = 2400. Ill own the second wilma & after the first crop the silent partener doesnt get anything. Also he wont know where the grow is as hes just the money side So while im growin small im just findin out problems & solutions.

Yeah nutty, all lower leaves untill the top set.

Flush it with PH balanced water. Get all the salt out. Let it dry or find a way to airrate the pot.
Then water with RO water. And wait for it to heal might need some nitrogen soon. when the bottom coloyodones turn yellow and shrivle up it needs nitrogen before the bottom leaves get eaten by the plant.

Looks like a fungal infection with the common name of 'rust'.
Young seedlings and plants are most susceptible to it.

You can see that it's not a fertilizer burn, but the leaves are twisted and sick. The spots are not a deficiency because of the leaf curling.

If you want to save the plant you are best finding a horticultural anti-fungal spray that targets this kind of infection- but that isn't a promise it will pull through. If it can survive long enough to get older, it may beat the infection on it's own. It could just stay stunted and sick for ages or just die though.

Hit your bud up for a few more quid and get the testers. If you want to grow you NEED them. You will be only guessing about the amounts of nutes and the PH, and that isn't going work for long and it will cost you more in the end when your grow turns to shit. The leaf looks almost looks like a nitrogen burn, but need more information, such as ph and how much do you feed and how often. Keep up air movement, because as mentioned before by an astute RIU member, it could be fungal.

No I believe you are wrong.
If it was a nitrogen burn, it would be youngest leaves which would have a burnt tip (and then later more burns over the leaf starting from the tip). It's not fertilizer burn.

It's not deficiency because being down the bottom (oldest leaves) it would imply either N, P or K- but none of those deficiencies look like that.

It's infection

Or could be a build up of salts... Since the other 10 are going grand it could also as 485 said infection...
