Golden Pineapple issues

I have talked to a few people growing my golden pineapple.
I just want people to know that I bred this strain for sea of green style.
If you are growing it bigger than 2 feet tall you must cage or tie up the branches so they don't snap. I am going to be working this strain a bit more in the future. I will make it have stronger branches for all those that want to grow it large.

I haven't ever had problems with branches breaking. I feel it is a must to stake up branches half way through flower in order to get those nice long, thick colas :) keep it up man, your golden pineapple is some FIRE!

What is your recommendation for flowering times on her? I've cut it as early as 45 to make room for bigger girls (huge mistake) because for some reason she really fattens up in week 7-8. So I'm assuming 9-10 week finish?

She finishes around 65 days give or take a few days. I take her anywhere between 60 & 70.

Stakes and Botanicare Silica added to my recipe fixed that straightaway. I found it humorous myself on the 1st run, but thats because they were falling over from the weight of the flower and I didn't have breakage just bend-age and pride in fat juicy nugs.

Do your dried buds smell like blueberry haze ? Or Do they smell like rotten pineapples. I am pretty sure there is a mislabeled golden pineapple floating around

Got my cuts from a pretty reliable source (thanks again Iriele) but now that you mention it it does have a cross between citrus and berry odor, figured that was because of the Sweet that I use. It has a "pineapple like" (I.E. not pineapple upsidedown cake but light and slightly acidic but not citrus fruity) flavour to it upon 1st burn. I should try vaping it so I could give a more clear answer as to the taste but I'm pretty sure that I've never smelled rotting pineapple. Please take all descriptions I give with a grain of salt, as when I get medicated unless that shit is really in your face, strains taste pretty routine to me.

It should smell like ripe or over ripened pineapple depending on how you grow it. It shouldn't smell like berries.

OK so just went into my office with one of my employees (and long time friend) that doesn't medicate, and had him take a whiff of my jar, he says I'm nuts when I smell berry. However he said it smelled sweet but couldn't place it until I told him it was called Golden Pineapple. I'm pretty positive that its the legit strain, what I am sure of is that it is fire and I will keep the mother alive for many runs to come, thank you Kal for putting the work into this and sharing it with AZ. :)

I had some flowers of the strain from a fellow grower who posts here and mine smelled kind of the same like really fruity not so much heavy pineapple odor.. The shit looked hella good and was nice only negative I have came from the grower he cut it like around 50 days so the high only lasted like 30 min but still a kick ass flower, I'd like to grow some but I'm pretty much full in my veg area for now, maybe in the near future though.

Yah the first time I grew Golden Pineapple with cuts straight from Kal a couple years back and it was rotten pineapple smell and a fairly easy feeder... This time around when I grew it I was coming up with all sorts of deficiencies, weak branching etc and get the blueberry haze funk out of it. Golden pineapple got mixed up with Blueberry X Kushberry back then by a grower who had both, and never got corrected.. I know for certain that cut got spread around these boards pretty liberally because I know the grower and know the whole story..., so yah... long story short... you guys are probably growing BlueDream x Kushberry unless you got your cuts directly from Kal El (hopefully he gave it to more people than just me and the real Golden pineapple is still out there)

My cut came from Kal El, and its smells are addicting

Golden Pineapple is Cinderella 99(pineapple pheno) x Golden Skush

I've never grown C99 yet but was told by Kal El that anything with C99 in it will be a nitrogen whore, and my cut has a tendency to yellow, so she fits the profile.

skinny stems, big stretch, vigorous plants
