Going to grow fully legal in California

I am trying to transition into growing cannibis legally for commercial use.
Any one here already doing it? I need advice on how to start and how much capital i need for fees and licensing. I will be doing light deps with 3 green houses. The area will be on a 4 acre land with probably less then 1 acre of actual cultivation. Will be hiring a lawyer to help me with this process. What i wanna know is how much will fees cost for 1 acre of cultivation. How much will i spend on fees and license alone?

You’re willing to part with 120k but that information is too much to read before you invest.

really?

Doesn’t sound like too much to read for me if I was thinking of investing 120k.
Well 60k for me and 60k for my partner. My partner will be handling the legal matter of the business. I will handle the growing matters.

He also has good credit as he owned a IT business before so he will be the one to read the licensing part and to purchase the property.

I seen that. Its too much to read. I wanna know if its worth spending on a lawyer before i proceed. My budget is 120k.
So you want to become a commercial grower in a already saturated market but cant take a few minutes to read how much it will cost you to be legal?

Good luck to ya.

I was gonna respond with something similar.

about to drop 60 large on a commercial op and can’t be bothered to read the ins and outs because “my partner” is the legal handler.

6 years under my belt. Been a member here for over 10 years.
And are you still working for the same dick boss who you were last year?

because if he’s your partner again I’d run a fucking mile and setup your own indoor grow and go solo.

Yes and thats why im transition. And no Hes not my partner. My partner is actually a long time friend whom wanted me out of the game. I use to work for his company 10 years ago. Since he cannot convince me to stop growing illegally. He is willing to join me and do it right and legal.

Well thats a good start.

I dont think 120k would be enough for licensing, greenhouses and everything that goes along with that.

How many people are you planning to hire to help? Do you have dispensaries that will take your bud? Do you have a company and quote for a company that will package your product?

Theres a lot more to think about than just licensing.

Legal cannibis Distribution centers wont deal with you if you cant yield 100 pounds each run. So indoor out of the picture with the budget.

Yes i have 1 distribution center that seen a sample of my light dep. They wanted to hire me as the grower but had to wait becuase of license issue. They wanted me as supplier too but only if i had 100 pounds.

Since our focus will be just 1 greenhouse. I probably will be doing most of the work. Mabe hire some labor poeple to help set up.
