Going to finally give horizontal growing at GO! 600w or 1000w 4x4 SOG?

I been a vertical grower since I started growing. I want to give a horizontal growing a go in all fairness just to see how it is. The set up would be a 4x4 tent with a flood and drain the same size. The plants will go from clone straight to flower or I may give a few days veg. What would be a good light to go with? I always wanted to try a 1000w but with the plant size is it a good idea? If cooling isn't an issue 37.5w/sq ft. Or 62.5w/sq ft.?? I guess that's the question.. .02

Yeah I'm getting an 8in 750cfm fan to cool the hood in the tent. Well it looks like I will be going with a 1000w set up finally!

With going from clone straight to flower what is the flood times and frequency?

Depends on ur medium n how much water it holds.. if it drys faster(hydroton, coco..etc.) ull wanna flood more often, I've heard up to 6x during lights on!
If its say.. a 6" rw block then probably only once or twice a day (personally id start @ 1x and read her from there and adjust accordingly using rw). This is just from what I've read here on riu from various people not experience tho. Hope it helps

Right on man, post a few pix when ur up n runnin. Id start with 3 floods a day and go from there. How many u packin on ur table? Since ur usin smaller pots it sounds like ur fillin it up if that's the case I wouldn't veg for even a day.
What strain u runnin?

I am thinking around 35 ladies to start with. No vegg time of course.

Emerald Triangle Mastodon Kush and some nice mystery strain I have. I may throw in a Critical + or two. Not sure yet though.
