So generally I put my clones in rockwool and then hydroton and anyways im currently out of rockwool (so was local store!) anyways can I just take it straight from the cloner and put it in the 6 inch pot surrounded with hydroton? Any problems bypassing the rockwool? Weaker plants?

I can only maybe for see a problem with stability through most of the veg cycle, as the plant gets a stronger root mass it wouldn't be a problem ...I use a ladies trainer sock (from tights) filled with coco but could use soil IMG-20130517-WA0019.jpg....then put this in net pot fill in with clay pebbles :) cheap and cheerfull

how many weeks do you think I need to veg them to get them to be sturdy? Like would a week or 2 be suffice, these sour D are just chillin in a ez cloner, about a foot tall, and being that sour d stretches I need to flower her soon!

I never use rock wool, i find the roots grow to steady the plant as well as the top weight (green) is lighter than the heavy wet roots down the bottom.
