GO BIG OR GO HOME LBS Grow

8 acres. 9 bags of earthgri soil. Planning on getting some perlite, vermiculite and hopefully some chicken manure if I can tomorrow. I can get more soil if need be and I plan on starting the seeds indoor in a rubbermaid container with 8 cfls each 26 watt (I think). So the big deal is MY GOAL IS 6 POUNDS. Don't stay telling me about how it can't be done or impossible whatever because I won't even respond to your negativity. But anyone who is willing to help me pick the right strain (asap) and steps to do this we can all enjoy this journey together. I know this is doable. I know I just need a lil guidance along the way. So what's up guys and gals you with me? What strain do I need for the 6 lbs and how many seeds you think?

they sell it in the bucket load near us .. idk

cant help with the outdoor thing buddy nut good luck :)

ps..........theres a companion growing thread some where ( you grow other plants near your weed and it helps with the bugs or something idk) or you can grow weaker plants next to them so the bugs attack them instead of your weed ............ good luck

Sometimes planting out doors before time can be good as they flower then they turn back to veg and blow up with new grow but need them to be a good size first before doing that but to be save wait till the end of winter all the best

It's never good. I repeat, never. Don't put out without additional lighting till last weeks of April. Also don't go from 24 hour lighting to outside. Unless you want to be in bud fast. Even mid summer they might go into bud and stunt growth. You start plant now and veg indoor till march 1st. Put outside and leave. 7 gallon cloth grow bags. Do 20 to 30. Easy 6 pounds. Should get 5 to 10 ounces per plant. Use good nutes. Then harvest around May 3rd. The full moon.
I've done this the last few years. Just don't let rain get on last few weeks.

you can easily get six pounds with as much acreage as you have to play with, but since your probably in Florida I'd definitely dig a big hole for each plant and amend it, fla soil is rubbish. I know I grew up there. big hole + good soil + good genetics = big plant with big yield... people who dig 65 gallon holes and amend the soil usually have no problem getting great yield per plant with the right strain. My mate is having good luck with Wonder Woman, another one I saw was malawai and that was huge, Durban poison, tangerine kush. But it's all pure opinion. You have so many variables, weather, mold, disease, pests, or you may have no issues at all. The two ones that I grew that were really easy were Durban poison, and tangerine kush the Durban by far the biggest yielder the tangie kush was the easiest and toughest plant I ever grew. How much experience do you have?
If not much I wouldn't worry about weight I'd worry about getting the best result you can, I'm in my third year and I don't know shit really.

Trust us on that one, wait till April!
Cannabis is a plant that works on photo periods which means it flowers when it gets less hours of light, it works on photoperiod so it sprouts in spring and as the hours get longer it goes into vegetative state and as the days shorten it begins to flower.
So if you plant in March you run the risk of early flower and very stringy weak plants when they vegetate again because the days aren't long enough.
It has nothing to do with temperatures.
It happened to me this year so I know.

Also if yer gonna use manure, dig your holes and mix your soil and let it age a few weeks before you plant so the manure breaks down and yer soil isn't too hot.

8 acres means I have a lot of room to play with and security (other than choppers) isn't really an issue I just don't wanna have them balls out. I ordered 5 fem shoreline from devils harvest last night. I'll run them in a plot with 2 fem freebies and a separate plot ill do 10 bagseed 2 reg sleetstack skunk & 3 reg shoreline. I don't wanna Fuck em up so I'll wait until mid may (last frost round here) to get them outside. Ill run all the fems in hopefully around 20 gallon pots. Regs in 5 gal. How long can I keep 22 seedlings under 8x26 watt cfls in red cups? I was thinking about 2-3 weeks?
