Gnats or little white flys?

Hi All,
While I was watering tonight I noticed a couple of tiny flying bugs. They look like little white gnats. Are these something to worry about and how do I get rid of them. I'm 6 weeks into flowering and everything looks great and I want to keep it that way.

Go to your local home and garden and buy some fly strip.
They come in blue and yellow and they work well.
Make sure you get the ones for White flies.

Have a similar issue with gnats. I don't see them harming my ladies but they sure are annoying. I picked up Fly ribbon at my local grocery store for a grand total of $1.69. They work like a charm and I know that no nasty chemicals are coming into contact with my pretty buds.

The flys are fine but there eggs hatch in your soil and eat the roots... so worry.

Wow, that sucks. I have notice no issues my plants seem to be coming along nicely. The idea of something munching out on my roots is not appealing. Any suggests on getting rid of them when you midway thru the flowering cycle?

i gotta get a stip my damn self..i just notice a few flying around...we cant have that near the bud now can we????

i was told that you use soap water and you pour it into the soil and it will kill em.

cover your soil with an inch of sand.. they cant get past the sand to the soil so they can't damage your roots. the ones left flying around will just die off eventually.
