Gig Worker? Self Employed? Want a free $1000????

If you're a gig worker, self employed, or an independent contractor, you can apply for an SBA loan called an EIDL, and if you are ELIGIBLE for the loan, you get $1000 transferred to your account. You can then deny the loan, and keep the $1000 without paying it back. The $1000 they transfer into your account is an advance that becomes a grant, that you are not required to pay back.

I'm not a gig worker but all this bumping and grinding gets me a little worked up. The gubmint is also giving out money to artists for the same reason. I'm looking into it. May as well take advantage while its available.

Anyone self employed, or any small business owned by you with less than 500 employees will be eligible for the grant. Artists, gig workers, delivery drivers, Uber, Lyft, Grubhub, Doordash, Postmates, etc.

If you are self employed you are eligible.

If we DON'T claim the money, the government will reallocate it as they wish, probably to put more children in cages and defend racist bigots...So we should soak up as much of this money as possible to prevent that from happening.
