ok i have my setup ready and have started germinatiing 5 seeds today
i have 2 boxes purposely built on a budget out of bits lying about.
the 1st room is just smaller than 2ftx2ft and 4.5ft tall, painted white inside and 99% sealed from light leakage.
its lit by 2x led bulbs (not sure of wattage) and suited to a clone/seedling spectrum
im using a 10litre bucket with a 4w air pump with 2x airstones, with 5 small net pots with rockwool and hydroton and a small water pump will be used to top feed until roots are long enough.
plants will be hatched in room 1 until they have a couple of sets of leaves then into room 2 for the better light
i will be fitting a carbon filter/exhaust fan at a later date once plants are moved into room 2
room 2 is 3.5ftx3.5ft and 6.5ft tall, mylar covered and using a 400watt mh/hps (veg then flower)
the plants will be kept together in a much larger res this time with larger net pots etc to suite.
a larger air pump with more airstones
i will be using canna nutes and additives throughout
both rooms will have a fan in the next few days and room 1 will have a air duct to room 2 with air pumped into the direction of the room with led's (to help with heating room1 and lowering heat or room 2)-- im hoping anyway!! air will then be exited from room 1 via a filter etc
i will upload pics though the night of the rooms as they are built to show what i mean but i have explained as best i can!!!
hoping by keeping it as a journal u can help along the way and we might all learn something along the way!!
