I Kno probably a stupid question I was just wondering if I could get free seeds lol it's money this money that...it's all good tho I love gardening
Tell me about it. With me it's no so much the cost of seeds but the fact that I always want to grow more stuff than I have room for. I get numerous seed catalogs in the mail every year. This year I'm tossing them straight in the recycle bin as I already have more than enough seeds and varieties of stuff to grow in my small garden space.

How do they look sad? Those are some great looking superhots....you must be used to the smooth mild peppers you get at the grocery store.
I love exotic peppers, especially the ones from Trinidad
I recently ordered some of these a couple days ago: https://www.whitehotpeppers.com/products/t-rex-yellow

I'm really interested in growing the more exotic superhots, along with classics like bhut jolokia, reapers, scorpions, 7-pots, etc.

You people and your ass burner peppers. Now I'm itching to grow at least one variety.
Honestly habaneros are not the best imo but you may like them I just cudn't do it...not because they were hot but because the after taste was unpleasant...so I'm looking for something maybe sweeter? Pick one and grow it but don't stop there lol

I just use them for making jerk paste but I should probably be using scotch bonnet which are fruitier according to some. But once they're blended with allspice, thyme, and other ingredients I doubt anyone's going to be able to tell the difference after the chicken comes off the grill.

Speaking of jerk chicken I have a pretty big bird 7.5 lbs I brined overnight that I was going to put in the smoker for a couple hours and finish off in the oven. I just remembered I have some jerk paste in the freezer I made and now I'm thinking of rubbing it down with jerk seasoning and tossing it on the grill later this evening.

Lots of people use habanero's because they're typically easier to find in the grocery store. They're the most common substitute for scotch bonnets in recipes.

Found this

Habaneros are slightly sweet and fruity and are a tad bitter. Scotch Bonnets are also sweet and fruity but are not bitter. Those who are unfamiliar with chili spice levels and flavors will barely notice the difference.
