Nine plants of Gorilla Glue 4 clones on day 56 of flower. I would like to know how much longer you guys think I should keep them up for?

Ive flushes for two weeks now. The bottom leaves are starting to turn yellow, this is my third grow in this set up (first with GG4) and thats never happened but I’m taking it as a sign that it’s close to being ready. I don’t know how to take pictures of the trick ones but they’re milky with a couple Amber (90/10; 95/5) but it looks like new white hairs are coming from the top of the buds. I’m not sure if that means they need more time or not.

The buds have stopped growing so fast too they really sped up with the molasses flush but the past week I haven’t seen any big change. Please share your input and ask me questions if you have any. Here are some pics. Also, is there any benefit to cutting the portions that look more ready and leaving the rest on the plant for a few more days?View attachment 462641309E29B13-FC98-4980-BA9B-CC6EFBECB604.jpeg09E29B13-FC98-4980-BA9B-CC6EFBECB604.jpegFABC4F8F-8F8B-4746-8B7A-C23462423C62.jpegAC7B4EB5-CADC-4E77-9AA1-CD831343C87B.jpeg6FADE83B-A3D0-4C7D-A6B6-5D89A2AA9893.jpeg27A35C78-22B7-4B72-AF35-285E2B17969D.jpegFCB48516-168A-46BE-A53C-CE80EA889898.jpeg25F15336-21D7-4A3F-AC88-F585779DC578.jpeg

You started flushing too early which is why the plant is yellowing out and looking deficient. You definitely wanna wait till closer to 10 weeks with gg4.

should I keep flushing for the next couple weeks or get them started back on nutrients?

i expected an earlier harvest with these clones my friend grew the same ones and harvested in 8 weeks

You "can" harvest GG @ 8 weeks, but if you look @ strain info, it states if you can take it to 10-12 you will see a larger harvest.
Here was mine @ about week 9 or 10. Chopped @ 11- 12.

I appreciate the input I’m going to wait another week. I made clones from these plants so I’m going to try another run with a longer flower time.

It doesn’t matter what your friend did. They harvested too early if they cut GG at 8 weeks especially if they counted that 8 weeks from when they flipped the lights and not from when the plant started to flower.

90% of the industry harvests plants to early because they usually don’t know any better or because they don’t care about quality and only want to slam out another sub par harvest each year.

If you harvest plants early you will get less yield, less flavor, less smell, and less high thats it. Harvesting early because you are impatient is a major new grower mistake.

If you harvest a healthy plant when it is actually ripe you will get more of all those things.

You will not over ripen a plant. It doesn’t happen on accident, it takes weeks of ignoring a plant for it to get to the point of degrading.

ok bro I just said I was gonna wait another week. I think also depends a bit on your set up not every single cut of GG4 is the same thing shit changes over time. All 70% of my hairs are orange and more turning every day, trichones are all milky with some amber, and then buds have stopped taking in water. only been 8 weeks sorry that my grows a little different im not simply impatient. just wanted a second opinion

Dude I’m not trying to be rude or pushy. You can do whatever you want in your garden. I’m simply trying to help teach you something about growing and plant maturation.

GG4 is a specific cut which means that even though it can grow a little differently under different conditions and gardens, that the properly grown healthy version of the plant takes 10ish weeks to be ripe.

My bad reading that it kind of sounded pushy but on re reading it I know what you’re getting at. I apologize for my brash response.
