Getting ready to order from Attitude

So due to the plethora of people who seem to be ordering from attitude seedbank, I am gonna give it a go. The only problem i have encountered is finding the gumption to order. So many people on this forum just up and order seeds no problem, which is leading me to believe that there is a method people are using that significantly reduces risk. Ive read the How to order bit in the sticky section, but im looking for some ideas on what people have done that are from the US to get their seeds?

Real name or fake name?
Sending it to your actual address?
Pay with Credit Card?

Just looking to ease my worries since its my first time, thanks!

Get a worldwide useable giftcard. You can register with a different name, but the register name, and billing/shipping name will probably have to be the same for the charge to go through. Ship somewhere you aren't growing.

well i have ordered from the tude before and here is how i did it... i went and bought a pre paid credit card... it said "not of international use" but maybe because i was ordering off of the internet it did matter cuz i used the same type of card 2 different times and it worked fine. second, it is probsbly a bad idea to use a fake name... if you end up having to sign for something, it is gonna cause probs if you don't have an id to back up your fake name. probably not a good idea to ship to an address that you are already growing at though. lastly, i have had 2 seed orders "not from the attitude" that were caught by US Customs. The only thing you really have to worry about is they will take your seeds that you paid for and send you a letter stating that the package contained illegal contraband and they were confiscated. you will never be tracked down or have a customs agent or police come to your house. it is actually quite safe. however i only ever order 1 or 2 dozen seeds. if you are ordering like 100+ seeds and you get caught, well that could possibly draw a little more attention i guess. good luck. oh, by the way... i ordered barney's farm Pineapple Chunk, Mandala Seeds Mandala #1 & Hashberry, along with a couple single seeds just to finish off the pre paid card and some freebees.

If you will be ordering online just do the following.

Get online, go to The Attitude site, pick your strain or strains, click to order what you want in whatever quantity you want, go to checkout, use your real name and real address, whip out your credit card or debit card and punch in the numbers, finalize the order and then sit back and chill because the very worst thing that will happen is Customs will nab them and you will receive an emptied package with a letter saying the package contained items illegal in the U.S. (that is assuming you are in the U.S.) and they were confiscated but if you want to dispute it you can contact them ... which you do not do. So the worst that can happen is you are out the bucks you threw for your beans.

I have ordered beans online ever since beans were available online and I have never done the secret squirrel thing and played Secret Agent 86 and I have never had an order not get through to me and I have never had the boys in blue or brown or gray, depending on where I lived at the time, stop by for a chat.

If you are so paranoid about just purchasing beans maybe growing is not for you. Every time a helicopter flies over your home or a cop car circles the block more than once or a strange van is parked across the street all day and or all night or you hear sirens coming in your direction or someone unexpected knocks at your door you will stroke out thinking about how you have illegal marijuana plants growing in your home or on your property and you will think you are on your way to the gray bar motel for a long stay.

As Brick Top states, just do it. You are protected by a good amount of law.

If the police etc are viewing your bank transactions and looking for an attitude order or similar, it is because they are already well aware you are growing and are now just looking for evidence to obtain a warrant. Even a huge heat signature on a roof is not enough for a warrant, it's just an indication for them. Although in this day and age it seems people will open the door to anyone and are getting busted largely through their own actions, so naturally the police opt not to play fair if they're offered a chance.

Short version you'll be just dandy.

Thanks for the responses guys, its not that im paranoid, since i am not even growing yet, and do not plan to do so at the house they will be shipped at. I was just wondering what the repercussions would be if they were seized, but i'm just gonna order them now as per brick top and not worry. Thanks!

You keep on being paranoid doin it. That's how you avoid getting busted. Seeds online are safe though.

Another question, where do you guys store them when you get them? I can't readily put them in my fridge for stealth reasons, thus i would have to keep them elsewhere, do they survive in package at room temp? I plan on ordering my seeds before my setup is completely finished, so when i do finish i dont have to wait on seeds, will they be okay in the mean time?

Why can't you put then in your fridge? Do you live with your parents or have a wife or fiance of girlfriend who might find them and get really upset of maybe just disapprove?

Id rather them not be in the fridge due to the fact that a guest could stumble upon them when they are in the fridge. Im usually pretty chill and tell people to just go and grab a drink or look for something to eat in the fridge if they want. Someone might stumble upon them. I will just put them in there if i have to, but can they survive outside a fridge?

dude just order your seeds from respectable seed banks and you dont have to worry about anything anymore, or juggle apples. try ordering from here a tad pricey than attitude but they have the best customer service http://www.worldwide-marijuana-seeds.com/ also known as http://www.thesingleseedcenter.com. i was hesitating to order my first few beans and this guy here gave me enough balls to order beans all the time. and its not the cops you need to be worried about its the people around you, you should be worrying about your friends, cousins, gf, landlord, neighbor etc that can really fuck u up.

I was a long time speculator of buying seeds online. Went with Attitude- Used my name, credit card, home address... received them in 10 days. Shipments are stealth, credit card statement was stealth, seeds have turned out excellent.

I just buy my seeds normally, plus with stealth packaging for guarenteed delivery...by the way...growing is a commitment, if your not in a situation where you can safely grow plants, I wouldnt bother ordering. Growing should be fun, not paranoid...

Of course they survive outside of a fridge, keep them in a cool, dry and dark place.

If not for the mutt crosses of today, the Heinz 57 Varieties crosses, with genetics from so many different strains from so many different regions of the world a solid argument could be made where not only refrigerating seeds but first freezing them and then thawing them in a refrigerator and then plants/germinating them would be beneficial for strains that originated in areas with harsh/cold winters.

Being an owner of a nursery I know other owners and one I know who grows from seed found that when he first froze his seeds for two weeks and then thawed them in a refrigerator before planting his successful germination rate went way up, to nearly 100%, and he deals with thousands of seeds at a time.

It seems that when dealing with seeds from plants from harsh/cold winter areas the freezing and thawing before planting/germinating better mimics what the seeds would encounter in nature and since they evolved to deal with such conditions they actually perform better under such conditions.

But with strains with so many mixed genetics from multiple hot and cold winter areas crossed together I would not claim it would be beneficial.

Both of the orders I made from Nirvana and Attitude I used my own name and address. Nirvana automatically stealth ships and I chose stealth shipping from Attitude. They are just seeds. It's the plants and the buds that you have to worry about. Unless you have a huge grow operation and are ordering a lot of seeds like 30 or more, then I would be a lot more careful and not use my own name and not ship to my home address, but if you're only ordering to grow for personal use, I wouldn't worry.
