Getting ready to flower - should I go with CFL or Tube?

I'm getting ready to make my flowering box, and it's getting time to pick out lights.

I can't handle the heat output of the other lights, so I'm going to go with fluorescent. I grabbed an off-the-shelf 23W CFL, and my light meter shows much more light than my tubes do, so I was thinking of going for CFL with my flowering setup.

My current grow room has four sets of two fluorescent lights in the corners, aligned vertically. I haven't yet decided the dimensions of the new box, but I heard about the uhaul wardrobe boxes, and I'm considering doing that.

I'm on a tight budget too, and my building doesn't have the best breakers.

Thoughts?

You don't have a closet??

Well, I do, but I either have to take one from my girlfriend, or use the gigantic one by the front door, but it has location concerns.

I think I figured out what I'll do though: use the gf's medium closet with a table and a mylar tent over a PVC lighting frame. Sound good?

CFL , easiest to setup and configure into many spaces.
