Getting Ready for Outdoor: What Soil to Use and How Big of Holes Do I Need ?

Hey all Im gearing up for the season and wanted to know if any of you knew of an inexpensive soil ? Or what size holes would I need to grow decent sized plants ? Ive got Blackberry Kush,green crack, Chem Dawg,The Hog and Chernoble veggin waiting to be put in the ground,This NorCal weather is a bit funky so im thinking late may to be put in the ground ?

I was thinking that Fox Farm would be the way to go that's what they are in now, I was hoping to go a little cheaper but I dont think that's a good idea because of the get what ya pay for deal......

u can get a nuteral soil with no nutes in it cheaper but u have to feed them way more..

My local grow shop has Fox Farm Ocean Forest for $9 a bag Im just gonna have to drop $100 or so on soil and be safe..... Does anyone know the root structure of a Blackberry Kush ? Do they grow spread or down deep ? Sorry for all the ? 's but I made a mistake last year of not diggin deep enough and my crop wasnt as good as it should have been.... Thanks to all who take the time to give me their 2 cents

starting from seeds you have a tap root that shoots down, clones roots spread out.. if roots have a place to go they will..
