Getting plants out of rapid rooter plugs?

So I just planted 5 WW seeds in rapid rooter plugs....in an aeroponic cloner.

Once they are growing, how and when do you remove the rapid rooter plugs without hurting the roots?

You can't remove them. Why would you want to? The roots grow through the spongy material of the plug and you just plant it as-is.

good luck

You dont remove the plant from the sponge plug, the plugs will work fine in soil & hydro perfectly.

Ok so it stays there throughout the whole grow? Thanks...I was just worried about part of the plug breaking off after a month or so and clogging my water pumps.

I guess that could happen...but I wouldn't worry about it too much. The plugs have a little stretch and...since they are always moist...don't seem to break apart.

ya its probabaly goonna happen, clog water pumps, and thats why you use the foam disk with the kits or make a removable stem holder for cloner, also rockwall works great and is easy once understood
