Roots Organic for both veg soil and base soil mix of Subcool’s Super Soil

Querkle was above ground October 28th so this will be day 23
this is the fastest strain I've grown in a good while, definitely showing some hybrid vigor...
most would not be quite this far along at this age, they are topped, in final containers, I just need to sex them prior to flip plus of course gain some height and girth but not too much height as where I live the ceiling height is only 8 foot so my tent is 36 in x 36 in x 68 in only unfortunately.

Man, they are really growing good. How many hours of veg are you giving them? I bet they'll start showing sex before you know it. I've had a bunch of Vortex's show sex super early....like around day 29/30.

they are getting 18/6 and that's pretty early no doubt! I can't wait to sex them, I'm getting some awesome smells rubbing the stems already
I'm thinking between the spectrum of my CMH and planting the seeds directly into one gallon pots without a root riot plug or a solo cup let them take off faster without any stress of transplanting early
plus the temps here where I live are getting nice and cool at night so I think not having heat issues is really helping too as I do fight heat most of the year

Took some cuttings, just one off of each plant, I will probably take one more off of each just to be safe, even if it lowers my yield by decreasing my total number of bud sites, so that way I’ll have 2 clones of each phenotype depending on how they display their traits and their sex too, if one of them or more is male, then I can kill the “father” to avoid pollen and keep the cut of him in veg until I am ready to use him, then I’ll move him to flower with the ladies I wish to pollinate outside, far, far away from my inside seedless flower crop.

Out of my five Querkle I have two that I’m watching as they look to be male, Querkle #3 and Querkle #4… and the rest are undetermined for now, got my fingers crossed that I have 3/5 female, let’s see!

Males

Since half or so of the Querkle turned out male I will be germinating some of Badgers Vanilla Tart as well to fill in some extra space that I have now

6 Vanilla Tart seedlings, broke ground on 11/28, and are looking good so far

3 Querkle females #1, #2, and #5 day 6 since flip

Querkle male cuttings #3 and #4 for when I need them, I can’t wait to start chucking some pollen !

It's been a long time since I posted here in this journal, between my busy family life and getting covid myself, growing took a backseat for a lil bit once again, I had given the last plants I had going to a buddy who was super hyped to have them, and I culled the males I was picking from to chuck some pollen, will start the process over from scratch selecting a prime male and excellent female to pair up to make some f2s of favorites of mine and to make some original crosses of my own as well.
New gear to grow with is on the way, going all LED this run, from start to finish.
Seeds are being germinated as I type this up.
Excited to be back to work!

UPS just brought my new HLG 350R tonight…
I just plugged her in and holy crap she’s a second sun to say the least ! Good thing I have method seven cultivators or I’d be blind working under this thing !

I just started some more Vanilla Tart and a few more Querkle beans in the last two weeks, will update with veg pics on here shortly!
