Hey guys I'm getting the fox farm line and I have a question.
It says on the schedule to feed it twice a week. I water my plant about every 3 days so how am I going to feed it that much?
Also, aren't you supposed to feed and then water instead of just always feeding it all the time, cuz that sounds like it would cause nute burn. One more thing, it says for me to use 6 tsp for big bloom. Should I start at 3 tsp to prevent any kind of nute burn, what do you guys prefer?

I have been using FF for a while now. I water 2-3 times a week, my plants are in 5 gallon pots. I make full strength per gallon and I will give 2 or 3 cups of water and then 2-3 cups of nutes every other watering(this is reading my plants different varieties call for different things).

I also used bud blood for the first time this flower in week one( i was told to use it last week of veg but I flipped my lights 12/12 and then bought it) and although expensive I like what I am seeing. I know that there are less expensive ways to to blast PK but I am ok with it.

When I flip to flower I still give "grow big" for a couple of weeks and I will blast PK week 5/6/7(depending on strain and flush last 2 to 3 weeks. After harvest and cure I get nice tasting plants that burn to white ash.

With FFOF I have found I can pretty much get through veg using water only and start feeding light at the transition to flower. Don't give the nutes for no reason, let the soil do it's thing first. It's easier for you and healthier for the plant.

This plant was grown like that and the picture was taken on day 1 of 12/12.......\

Evil mobo if right; you should try to transplant to the largest size container for your grow space into fresh FFOF and wait to use your nutes for as long as you can; use them only as needed and sparingly. Too many growers try to use tiny-ass pots and then need to rely on nutes to stave off deficiencies, then they overfeed/overwater because the roots have become a sold mass from the lack of container space and then mfers can't figure out why their weed tastes funny after harvesting. Too much nutrient will affect the flavor of your bud and no amount of flushing will get rid of it after a certain point; just keep that in mind.
The ff feed schedule assumes you are using a hydroponic medium like coco. Don't go by the feed chart; you will burn them. Yes go half strength; Big Bloom won't burn them easily because it's organic but the other bottles will. If you are growing in soil that contains fertilizers you'll need even less. Less is more; try feeding once a week at half strength; use a TDS to mix your nutes; ppms are way more accurate than a tsp. Give straight water in between with cal/mag ever other watering; especially in bloom. During mid flowering they might need to be fed more often if they look pale but never give them full strength. Stop giving nutes in the final 2 weeks

I only use the grow big and tiger bloom now but have used the big bloom too

The big bloom is good but I never used it that heavy, i put it in my mix every other watering,2 cap full to a gallon mixed with other things.

Now I just use grow big and a cal mag in veg and tiger bloom and cal mag I'm flower. Depending on plant size I use about 1/4 cap full per gallon of the grow big on small plants and 1/2 to a full cap and a half on adults. Plus cal mag half a cap every other watering.

For bloom I use tiger the same way, 1st week half cap grow big , half cap of tiger bloom per gallon and cal mag.

And slowly step my way to all tiger bloom sometimes up to 3 caps per gallon. Untill the last week or so of flower.

Make sure you check your ph because depending on the water hardness the ph can drop dramaticly.

What he said! you dont need nutes for the first Month just plain water. Only notes I would suggest is a seaweed extract such as Liquid Karma, CalMag if you need it, and some silica, but plain water will work fine unless your using RO water than you will want to add the CalMag regardless

I should add that I did not start nutes with OF soils until I trained the mainlines.

Big bloom won't hurt your plants even at the strongest suggest heavy feeding dosage .....it's the only one out of the fox farms big three that is organic and that's why if you look at the suggested heavy or even general feedings it's way way higher than the other twi...meaning GB and TB .....those are the two that you need to watch and use sparingly once your soil is out of food first ....especially GB

I completely agree with you because when I first planted my baby I didn't use any nutes because I don't even have any. The first 4 weeks of grow their was nothing wrong with the plant until it started flowering at week 5. I didn't need any veg nutes or anything like that so it will be nice that I know this for sure now. Thanks man.

So your another person who doesn't think the plant needs veg nutes right?
About how long into the grow do you start using tiger bloom and big bloom?
Keep in mind I mainline so my veg time can be quite long. I did not start using notes in veg until after the plants were 4-5 weeks old. I also have been using happy frog for last set of clones and then transplanted to a mix of happy frog and OF.
Also I use big bloom, grow big, and wholly mackerel later in veg but again I veg a pretty long time.

No problem man trust me though add in a silica supplement and liquid karma and your plants will thank you.
