calaveras county is a really nice area , angles camp ,sonora nice rolling hills and very nice folks there
yes indeed, mon is in Calaveras, when i seen the manzanita trees, i knew yous was somewut nearby......:)

P.S. That manzanita sells for a pretty penny to people with birds and out of state, they like to make bird stands with it and it doesn't grow everywhere so hard to get, its also on the protected species list and not allowed to be chopped on public lands.

ya it is a pretty wood and this property is covered with it is choking out the big pines and not letting any light in . the owner wanted it thinned some so we got 3 acreas to clear out and leave all the big pines . got a big ass pile of good branches for that bird stand thing lol... haha never thought about it but i know people that have big birds that cost thousands and would buy them just becuase of how they look all twisted and funky looking .

How do the seedlings do outside with rain and wind when they are that small. I lost 5 out of seven of my mothers due to a late frost...I have another 20 seedlings that are 4 days old but they have to go outside as soon as they can. Temps are down to 40-45 at night and 60-70 in the day.

they will be fine if ya keep them in the lee of the wind, alittle rain doesn't hurt them any and makes them stronger as long as it(rain) doesn't beat them out of the cups lol.. ya in maine i never put out till the last full moon in may !! no exceptions on that due to being caught by late frost a couple times lol..

That's a lot of kids . I have a question. Not that it's to late by anymeans but im wondering what size pot you sex them in before they go in to their spot or if you plant them all in and cull later be cause it will be mid season before you know, cause that could be a lot of soil ? The reason I ask is cause I started my seeds on 4/20 and I was just able to sex them this weekend and they are 1 1/2-2' ft tall and I have a 6ft limit, first I was worried they wouldn't sex in time and I would have to plant my best looking ones in the ground and gamble but they sexed as planned but will be huge by the time flowering starts. Gonna be tying some stuff down. Im just trying to figure out or a sure myself to plant later but there is no room for error if something goes wrong ? Hope I didn't babble to much  stoned. :peace:

Looking good your making a lot of progress ha I didn't realize how hard it was all the prep work till this first guerrilla season.
now I know why we need to start in feb/march ha, I got 12 in waiting for these clones to show roots,
any day now ha hopefully. Gotta get the next two spots of 12 in and then just have to water.digging those holes and hauling soil in
Is hard work! Hah I remember last season and the one you did b4 that were big so much work much respect ha.
hey I was wondering if you have ever ran into problems with rabbits I have something munching on my plants and I'm not too far out so I don't think its deer but I do see a lot of rabbit droppings around my area.

rabbit are the only problem we have in maine (deer and slugs ) but put a 3 ft high piece of chicken wire around them and that will stop that shit they like to bite the stock off and leave it there on the ground. good luck with that

id say it looks done, cant wait to hear the results. and depending on ur skin and how much u work determines how long it'll last, sweating opens ur pores and that's activates the toxins to make u itch like a bi***. did u try calamine lotion? and/or bar soap? anyways have fun working on the garden.
