This year I have Island Afghani, Poison Warp and Brain Twister to try out. I'm very excited to run some mold resistant strains. The humidity here is terrible!

I understand these strains are bred in the North East where daylight/night time, environment and other factors are very different from here in Southern Ky. Anyone down south tried these genetics?

I'm gonna be starting the germination process today.

I personally always use fem seeds, not used to using regular seeds in my guerilla grows. I do use them and tons of them, but my experience only goes so far. I have loads of bag seeds I have saved over the years and when using them, I always use them in many small patches of around 40 to 50 per plot in a 3 ft wide by 10ft long tilled patch and then cull the males come flowering time, the plants dont bush out a lot and I get large single colas and a few nice middle branch buds. I do NOT want to use this method for Getaways seeds.

My fem seeds and clones I always dig single large holes for or plant them in 20 to 30 gallon grow bags because I already know they are gonna be female. If I done this with non fem seeds, I would have tons of money and investment lost because half would be male and half would be female.

What I am getting at is what would be the best way for me to sex these seeds so that I know I am putting females into these grow bags?

Is it too late to get a large yield per plant?

In no way am I a newbie, I have grown for almost 15 years but I am not experienced in my questions here on my post. Thank you!

I've grown a few strains from getaway in the western end of Kentucky and they are perfect strains for our humid weather. The IA is one of God's perfect strains, which I use for crossing because of the unique characteristics he/she pass along such as early flowering, mold resistance, tight nodes, skunky flavor and excellent stone.

we bring all the seeders back to greenhouse to finish off after they are pollinated at the various spots we got them at and i do a few experimental ones in there every season i did 8 real big plants in there and was too full and they do much better outside here the greenhouse is great to start them in and have an instant crop when its time, our outside season is only june to end of sept here so ya got to improvise to get ahead we got 10-12 k in the greenhouse cost to build and it pays for itself every spring doing clones and plants for other growers and get our crop up and going good before going outside

the final guerilla patch is done we are finally done for the season every plant is 3-4 ft tall so were in good shape full sun at 6am this morning in this little sweet spot

Everything looks amazing as always I hope to step my game up like you some day. What do you expect to pull from plants this size ? I have about 12 or do this size and hoping for minimum qp each.

Hey Getaway hope you don't mind me jumping on here to show off a few of your strains.
I've never done a scrog type grow, but I'm gonna give it a go with these here. Had plants 2 to 3 foot over the fence last year, need to keep it down. All the plants are 9 weeks today and the growth has been great. Doing well with the low and wide training. I'm gonna build a frame for the first scrog fence over the top of them in the next few days.

Poison Warps are going along well, seem to be a bit smaller stature than the other 2, though I know that can change.20170610_082935.jpg

The R2P is going to be an absolute beast it appears. I've never had a plant grow this fast in only 2 months.:mrgreen:20170610_082735.jpg

no i dont mind at all i want to see how they do for you over there they are done mid to late sept the r-2 poison turned out to be a nice rugged plant they are more aggressive on veggie growth and poison warps grow sideways more than get tall
