Yes you read right. 100 bucks for a TGA hoodie.
.
Now i know this isn't the place for discussing fashion... but seriously sub???? I try and stay away from the flames about you on this site, I don't doubt you're a compassionate breeder/caregiver etc.. but DUUUUDE??? Maybe you aren't in charge of this. I'm sure you're not personally making this product. But between the price of your seeds, and now that i'm seeing the price of your swag ..... I'M FLOORED... I don't want to say TGA is greedy but... YOUR name is on this man, and it stinks of greed. Sincerely.

so as opposed to supporting our american breeders, i opted for a much nicer, less expensive Sensi Seed product......

dunno where they're manufacturing your gear (not seeds) but ... anyway you can explain such a high mark-up? and if you can't why would you put your name on it.

I'm sure you don't need promotion, i was just looking to rep a good seed company....... NOW i'm expecting to get flamed for talking about a sweatshirt instead of cannabis ..... so haters go for it, but keep in mind... if you can charge so much for something as simple as a piece of clothing, what does that say about the price of your genetics. Great genetics as they may be .... i'm still smelling greed.

ok ..... TGA fans I'm ready for my burning at the stake.

and Mods ..... if i chose the wrong forum i apologize

If you actually watched the Weed Nerd show you would know the story behind the $100 hoodie!
Why not tell us. Not all of us care to sit down to watch a stoner raving about this or that for an hour or whatnot. Unless at the time of purchase there is a big statement telling me that the price is the price because of some philanthropic reason, then $100 is $100 and for a hoodie that's a rip off.

Here I'll explain why its $100. The TGA hoodies weren't meant to be for sale. Sub bought them as a staff hoodie. When he wore it on a weed nerd episode people thought they were bad ass and kept asking if they were for sale. He said no they are staff hoodies only because the cost was so expensive and he like you didn't think people would pay that much for a hoodie.

The people kept begging for them and finally he gave in and started selling them. All he was doing is giving the people what they wanted. He was upfront and said they would cost a shit ton b/c they are very high quality hoodies. The man has to make a profit and nobody said you had to buy the hoodie.

It seems simple to me...if it's too much $$ for you then simply don't purchase it. Funny thing is not only was a weed nerd willing to pay $100 for the hoodie but some paid extra to get there name embroided on it too. If there's a demand for something you would be dumb not to have a supply. Especially when the man was upfront about the price and people still demanded them.

When were talking medicine, genetics, resin, dedication, and innovation, the only person that comes to mind is TGA and subcool!! All he does is give to the medical community in every state...who else does that!?? I know not cali connection!! If the hoody is too pricey for your budget, then don't buy it....simple rule as a consumer to me.

Everything tip top just said is pretty much my exact sentiments ....I would like to even give the benefit of the doubt and think they were philanthropic reasons. I can't watch WEEDNERD everyday.... I just can't fucking do it... AND like i said I have respect for sub.

ALSO... i originally wanted to get the sensi hoodie.. but i figured it'd be more expensive since it was from overseas, shipping and all that jazz.... so i figured well let me check out an american breeders gear. Sensi was under 55 with shipping, TGA 100 ... didin't bother to check the shipping price.

Now ...i wondering if sub is gonna chime in and say he has nothing to do with it, like his newly packaged super soil. either way .... your names on it. I'm sure it's a comfy hoodie fuck a 100 bucks. I'm no fashionista ... although i'm playing one on RIU right now.

ok ...i can buy that piece of info ... is the local store making them for him to be so expensive??? people love this dude (i'm sure he's a cool guy) and what he does.... appeal to the masses then, get em made in bulk so people can promote.

ok case and point to the statement i just made ... TGA Subcool is almost revered. Everyone wants his gear right? why doesn't he/they mass produce them at a smaller price and appeal to their base ... it's a sweatshirt.... but that my friends is none of my business ....it's how he/they chooses to do their business.

Look at the difference in materials. TGA's is the new microfiber material. It's high end shit. Like I said they were intended as staff hoodies, not mass production hoodies to make $$ on and Sub spared no expense and got the best of the best (pertaining to materials). He didn't skimp out and just get a regular hoodie. I'm sure he could make a cheaper hoodie in that price range, but the intention were to be staff hoodies so he splurged and got what he wanted. When people asked and he said they were that expensive and they still wanted them what was he gonna do?? Easy....fill the demand.

It's comparing a "champion" hoodie to a "under armour" hoodie....the price difference is in the materials used.

Here just look at this....

http://www.buy.com/prod/champion-hoodie-9-7-oz-cotton-max-color-block-raglan-hooded-sweatshirt/213548403.html?listingId=117423082

$38.95

VS

http://www.underarmour.com/shop/us/en/mens-ua-rhyme-stone-full-zip-hoody/pid1230787-001

They want $99.99 too. And I'm sure people pay it all the time. They also have several model's in that price range as well.

It's all in the materials used.

this is America and if someone wants to spend 100 on a jacket. do it! i see seeds for like 114 on attitude someone is buying it. i can't afford things like this i save up for 3 months just to get 10 seeds for the year. i like sub i think that does alot for medical marijuana. I grow for my sick mother. I have made super soil... perfect. but back to the price thing how much is your cell phone is there a app to keep you warm or hold your bowl.;-)

I've seen a couple of these in person, they are hardly "hoodies" more like a jacket. $100 for it is a very reasonable price for a guy that only does a small run & produces couple of each size.

I'd like one but don't have $100 to throw down on it. I'm not out here bitching. save up, act like an adult, stop being such a pussy.

tga isn't that important to me to save up for a fucking piece of clothing
Then why is it important enough to complain about?

Its like complaining about a car that is out of your price range. If your never going to drive let alone buy it then why complain? Unless you just want to complain to complain.
