best way wet paper towel in a air tight and light tight container to hold the moisture on a warm spot like back of tv or on the dryer etc and check in a day or so worked 100% sucess for me

Paper towel method seems most popular if you want to google that. There is alot of info available on that method. I like root cubes, and the cup of water soak overnight to prep the seeds.

ide get some rockwool its hard to fuck up. adjust the ph a little bit with water and a TINY amount of lemon juice. put it in the dark for 3 days and its up! oh yeah make sure you put the pointy end down in the rockwool.

then put it in a dwc bucket setup, with rockwool and netcups and the water level just barely touching the bottom of the netcup.

Tbh all the above methods work, and no faster then one another..

in my experience rockwool cubes are easy, pretty straight forward, soak them in 5.3 ph water, squeeze out excess water, place seed in face any direction doesn't make the slightest difference (unless you have a taproot already) and hooray you'll have baby plants in a matter of days..

Any of the above germination methods will get you were you want to be. personally I wet a paper towel, wrap my seeds in it and put it all in an open ziplock bag. Place in a warm (NOT HOT) and dark area and check on them in 24-48 hours.

I use the wet paper towel method. Haven't lost a seed yet and it is my 2nd grow. Are you using soil or hydro?

i like rapid rooters, and have great success germinating in then, but since that hole is pretty narrow for the seed, polarity can be an issua. ive had some pop and come up taproot first because the rooter hole isnt big enought to let it move around. no big deal... use a skewer and GENTLY flip it. rapid rooters are pH neutral, too. so easy. for the win.

Good luck with the Tang Dream, I got a 10 pack from the tude and only 1 germed! I did the paper towel method and it DID NOT work on my Tang Dreams. Therefore I'd suggest the planting method for them.

I started 2 seeds on Jan 22 and they are 6 inches tall, one is a bit shorter, now.

I did it with a small glass jar, about the size that would hold only a ping pong ball...

I wrapped up the seeds inside the towel so that it was all padding on one side, and so only one layer over them on the other.

I wet the towel, placed the seeds/towel in the jar, and put the cap on it.

I set it over my heater vent, half over, half off, in a bright room. I did not attempt to shield them from light.

They cracked and went into the soil fine. The shorter one, I believe, is only shorter because I bent that bitch and buried it because I didn't like the direction it came out of the ground. No problems, though I expected it to die.

Soil, 3x23w CFL at 5000k, 20 days later, they are strong, bushy, no stretch, and my first grow is looking and smelling great already.
