Germination Tip

I use the paper towel method of germinating and one day while checking my latest crop of germ'ers it occurred to me that the water in the paper towels was ice cold. I use heat mats under my cloning domes so I set a mat under my paper towel set-up. Bingo! Helped my germination success rate to improve. Works for me.

Yep a little warmth helps with all germination methods. I've had luck with an overnight soak in 1cup water with 1tsp hydrogen peroxide, then into rapid rooters under a heat source. This round it's my WiFi Router Sprouter. Peek a boo I see you in under 48 hours..

I just drop my seeds directly into the medium in a solo cup and place it on my heat mat with a cover over it loosely. 2 days later on average it's up and the dome is removed. Almost 100% success for years. Screw paper towels and water soaks.

i put bag on top of refrigerator works good.. just put a seed in rockwool cube in dwc lid out in open basement she pop put in veg. tent now

Distilled water works best as well

Tip: Be a man drop it in the dunk (soil)

Paper towel with warm water inside a sealed Ziploc bag, kept on top of my hot water tank. 100% success rate.

All i do is presoak my soil with tap water ph to 6.0 and put her in the closet in the dark till she sprouts, also have a oil heater in the closet too keep them warm
