crap shoot man, some seeds pop up after one day, some one week. I'll tell you what helps though. If you get some peat pots and a heating tray with a humidifier dome. This significantly increased my germination percentage.

As stated above, make sure the area is nice and warm/ humid. I cover my pots with cling wrap and it works just as well.

I posted this in another thread but maybe it will help you:

Here is what I have seen done with lots of success, IMHO the best way to ensure a good sprout. Germ the seeds in a wet paper towel, put it in a bag and set that in a warm spot (on top of a cable box works well). Seeds need constant warmth or they won't germ. After 12-36 hours the seed should have split and the sprout is sticking out. Carefully pick up seed with tweezers and place it in the wet rockwool with the sprout pointing down. Don't force it in, spread the hole a bit with the tweezers first then place the seed in as gently as possible. You can put a piece of RW on top of the hole if you want, I've seen it done both ways.

Then put the RW in your grow room with temps constant around 80 degrees for proper root growth. After a few days you will see the plant working it's way out. Give it light (not HID lights yet though) and keep it wet. Don't ever let it dry out. After the roots start working their way out of the sides of the RW it is ready for soil or hydro or whatever your setup (plant will already have a few sets of leaves at this point). Usually you don't need to feed at all until it's planted, but keep an eye on it. I know some people give light feedings at this stage. Hit me up if you have any more questions.

i germinate my seeds in a glass of tepid water half boiling and half cold stick it in the airing cuboard for up to 3 days within 24 hours the seeds should drop to the bottom then usually by 48 i see the little white sprout, apparently they can last upto 3 days in water aslong as its warm even had a few sprout when the water had dried up which is not recommended obviously.

take care
