Last Tuesday evening my friend called me and told me his seed sprouted, I then told him ok plant it half an Inch down in the soil then sprinkle soil over it. He said he did, which i don't believe. Anyways it's been a week and it hasn broken soil and temps are staying at a constant 78. We've given the plant water everytime the soil feels dry Half way Down the side of the pit. Anyway if anyone can help at all we would be very appreciative! :)

urmm..dunno man Id just wait one more week then chuck it..are u using warm water? is it tap water (the chlorine in the water can kill seeds even germinated ones) is the water ph blanced? ( PH IS VERY IMPORTANT) what medium are you using? soil from the garden, compost?? some composts can be too strong a mix for a seedling. is the soil warm?? its most important to keep the medium (roots) warm..the plant above ground can "withstand" not flurish in 41 degrees Fahrenheit as long as the roots are warm same goes for a seed , warmth stimutates root growth but dnt go ott with that for the sake of mold. hydogen peroxide 2 drops per litre is never a bad thing for newbies either or throughout..helps fight off fungus/molds...
