Patience! I found at 80F it takes seeds about 2.5-3 days to pop. At 70F it takes about 4.5-5. So you're right in the middle there. Just give it a couple of more days before being concerned.

Couple things you could so.
1- place them under a heat mat.
2- germinate them in distilled water. (Personally my experience has proven best using this method)
3- lightly sand down a side of the seed to help it soften.
4- crack the seeds EXTREMELY CAREFULLY, using your wife's tweezers. It makes sure the seed soaks water which activates the germination process. I also do this and it allows me to see there is a tail inside the seed and it isn't a dud.

I had a problem with some very nice fem seeds. I played it safe in the damp paper towel and had no luck germinating. I then decided to crack them with tweezers and regerm again. NOTHING... No tail! So I potted them for 4 days and my impatience made me dig them up to see what was happening... NOTHING! So I then put them into water and sat it overnight. 23 hours later they popped a tail. Magically resilient!!

Let me know if you try one of the methods and if you find it successful!

GL! :)

Some people like to wait it out and get a nice tail but any size tail is an indication it's time to put them in your medium.
And like krypto said above, heat is the key. Cooler temps slow down the process and no1 is patient. Especially if this is your first time germinating. Lol

Yeah. I was mind blown. I ended up with other seeds that germed fine and those I'm working on. These 4 I plan to experiment with. But so far, so good lol.

All I did was pre-soak some rapid rooters, then put some water in the bottom of my clone dome. Insert seeds, spray the dome and cover it with a towel. I'm batting 1000% at 12 for 12. They go under my t5 with everything else at the moment.

That's why you just do it in soil...set it and forget it..until it sprouts. but in both cases give it time.
I have to agree, I think that its easy to over complicate the whole thing.. at the end of the day its a seed and it needs earth / medium and moisture to crack. Its worked for a long time :D

I decided when i got home that i would crack them with tweezers very gently, After that i got some good plant soil and a bucket and planted in it, Should i poke wholes at the bottem so water can come out? And how much water should i put if it hasen't even sprouted yet?

NO watering, you'll drown the poor thing.
Thoroughly saturate your grow medium before planting, let excess water run off from drainage holes, then plant your bean.
After this point a watering is not necessary until well AFTER your seedling has sprouted.

Can you say that again in a more basic manner? Didn't quiete understand you.

When you cracked them, did the seed inside look white and ok? It may or just been struggling to break out of its home like a 16 year old girl wanting to meet her boyfriend at midnight lol.

I would simply put the soil in a pot. Poke a hole 1/4 inch deep in the middle ten pour an ounce of water down the hole. It will moisten the medium and the excess will drain down then place the seed in carefully, dust it with some soil and done!

I've had success with placing in a folded, damp paper towel within a ziplock bag. I seal the bag and place directly in a closet, closed.

If I need to add even more warmth, I place an upside-down box over the ziplock bag within the closet.

I've had seeds pop within 36 hours with this method.

If you don't have the plate, etc. sealed in a large plastic baggie you are wasting your time. Plate has to be sealed for 2 days, check, leave one more day for the seedcap to loosen/fall off. Third day they go into dirt. You can see the leaf tip above the ground after she goes into dirt. NOTE -- by not burying the top leaves you will have a slender stem. Be sure to put a brace into place when they first go into dirt. I average harvesting 2 plants a week so a lot of experience has gone into the development of my system. Works 4 me. BigSteve.

Best advice I can give you.
Use a cloning solution instead of just water. like General hydroponics Rapid Start.
And Warm Temps to Sprout.
