general yield question

was wondering what the average dried yield per plant you guys get when growing indoors in soil.

I know it depends on a lot of factors, but i wanna know your average regardless.

In soil, dried, indoors.

Depend on strains i get 3 to 7oz a plant when i train them properly and everything goes well. (You never know when something bad will happen)

Depends on the strain and setup.

I used to average about .7grams per watt with Master Kush in a 1000watt setup with soil and drip feeds. Once I changed over to soil-less mediums and better nutrient programs I was able to get .9grams per watt out of the same genetics.

Mostly I'd say soil is a lot more difficult to have "perfect" conditions with, and if there is a problem it may take weeks to resolve unlike in soil-less.

actually, the question is what's general, not the yield... so it's a general question.

a good answer to my question would be something like "I get 3 to 7 oz a plant, depending on the strain".... which is Lady's answer.
