general location picking inquiry...

Hey all, just wondering what you guys think of my strategy here. I am picking two locations, to plant about a dozen seeds at each. Both locations are each within about a mile of each other. Do you think its better to place them farther apart in case one gets found? or am I just over thinking this?

I"m pretty excited about this site. Just took these pics this morning. In the first pic, you can see all the dead, brown sticks between the trees. These are really nasty thorn bushes once they get growing. The site is completed surrounded by them for 200 feet in every direction (yes, I actually measured it ;P ). I believe that it is almost impossible to get back there without bleeding on at least one of your limbs, if not all of them lol. The second picture is an old downed tree. I'm going to make the space in the middle of it a little larger and plant in there. I should be able to get enough light in there as well since the canopy is more open right there. The tree limbs stand up to about 12 feet or so on one side, and 7 feet or so on the other. I'm hoping this will be good enough camoflague in combination with the thorns. The soil seems excellent here as well. The down side though is its a little closer to a hiking trail than I would like... 218 feet, so if somebody is walking past and I'm making a bunch of noise they might be able to hear me, even though they probably can't see me, at least once the foliage gets growing.

It is best if you find a spot further away. Deeper in the thicket. I am not saying you cannot pull it off, I just do not advise this. You need to look up Low Stress Training and Topping/Fimming. Best of luck to you bro! It is a beautiful season so far. Just an FYI the Farmer's Almanac says it will be very wet near the end of the season, make sure you are prepared. I am growing on the side of a hill this year, lots of drainage! Fingers crossed for no MOLD!! Good luck again. Hope this helps...some LOL :bigjoint:
