Well, if I am understanding correctly.
You don't HAVE to put it through vegetative I've seen people doing 12/12 grows from seed.
For an example, I vegged mine for a monnth, and flowered right around 8 weeks. It definitely depends on your strain.

That calculator is designed to sell products. If you follow their calculator recomendations your nutrient capital investment cost will be absurd for no real gain in over all yield. Following their suggestions is just not economical. ie their in the pot nutrient game to make money not to be good guys that support Norml or any such ideologies or activist stances such as legal medical marijuana grows. They are in the pot nutrient market, they aree not interested in selling cheaply to legal growers. When and if the feds ever decriminalize pot growing for everyone GH , AN and Canna and such companies will just shut their doors. They have already made more than enough profits to retire. They will not bother selling prodi ucts if they have to sell cheap, as their is jsut not enough profit to be made in the market of supplying leagal operations that make common profits rather than up to 30 to 1 on investments.

Don,t get me wrong they work well but one really does not need their whole line for good results. Most people at the moment are just buying Flora Nova Bloom as it is basically the mix recommended by Lucas with some humus added. Or a cheaper just as good alternative is using micro and bollom at a 1 to two Ratio as recommended by Lucas. Not necessarilly the best but simple and easy and it eliminates the b need to buy many different formulas. You will likely get a larger over all yield using all the products but you wil spend more and mixed and throw away more. With the increased yield though the costs will likely be the same gram for gram. Lots more work and initial capital expenses though.

Im not really worried about the amount to use at the moment I wanted advice on the the amount of weeks per growth stage. With the lucas formula is meant for a 100 gallon tank so I've heard.

The Lucas method was based upon the use of GH bloom that is sold as a x50 concentration and GH micro sold at a x50 concentration. The manfacturer intended it to be used to make 100 gallons of total nutrients mixed at a 1 to 1 ratio.

With the Lucas method you would use two gallons of bloom and one gallon of micro to make 150 gallons of nutrients. I do not know what concentration they are selling Flrora Nova formulas at presently, but I heard it is more dilute than the two part formulations.

As for weeks at each stage it varies with strains. Ingeneral you use no fertilizer initially. After roots develop it is typical to use dilute nutrients for tow weeks. Veg staes depend on whter you choose to grow a few large palnts or many small plants. Large plants are often veggedfor two to 6 weeks.

Budding times can run from 6 to 10 weeks give or take. If you bought seeds go to the site you bought them from and lok at what they say about the palnts. Indoors versus out doors, bushy or not, indica/afgahni versus sativa, They usually geive a estimation of height and budding duration. Until experience is gained you can usually expect your plants to be taller, less bushy and take 10 to 20 percent longer to bud than stated in the adds.

Wow, when is the Lucas formula bit ever going to die. It is a Lucas method using GH formulas. Lucas formulated nothing. His method uses existing formulations, he created no formulations. Not that I care for the GH people but the formulations used are theirs not Lucas'.

No, not necissarily. Just use it as it says, 5ml micro per gallon, 10 ml per gallon for bloom. I'm not sure if those are the correct ratios, but this is the last method I used.
